"The Riverside Retreat was a respite from the noise of our lives. We enjoyed the clean, well-supplied VRBO space. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution."

"This place is a hidden gem! Coming from a small town, but can hear road noise on a daily basis it was SO nice to relax on the front patio area in silence! Everything was neat and tidy. My kids loved the board games, and it was nice to let my 5 year old run around the yard. I would recommend this place 100x over!"

"The only thing we had an issue was, was finding the place. We guessed it was the correct property by process of elimination, but after that, every thing was easy peasy. I am really glad there were written out instructions since we lost service right when we turned onto Wally Rd. The back porch was perfect for when it rained and just night time hang outs. It was also super fun to see all the people in the river! The view was awesome."

"This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We have a "guys weekend" every year to just unplug from life for a couple days. This was a central location between Columbus, Cleveland and Akron where we were traveling from, and very easy to find. We comfortably slept 8 adults, had enough room in the living space/kitchen to gather and loved spending the day by the water and nights around the fire. Definitely recommend!"

"House was great - very clean and modern. Everything as listed in listing. Only 10 miles from downtown Berlin - which was a nice drive through Amish farmlands. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. Everyone very friendly. We definitely would consider staying there again."

"I really appreciated the recliner. I have some issues and climbing into those beds was difficult. I was able to spend a restful night in that chair! I might suggest that a step would be helpful for getting into the bed. But all in all, absolutely lovely!"

"First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. "We loved our stay in the shipping container. It was quiet and unconventional. The home was well-stocked and comfortable. The driveway was interesting for sure but with 4 wheel drive it was not a problem at all. You should bring mosquito spray if you want to sit outside! Ryann was VERY quick to answer any questions.
