Was not a 5 star hotel, Inn, or motel...BUT it was clean, staff was friendly and parking was safe! It was a nice place for a beach weekend! I will do again!

Very cute beach house. Loved the beach view, jetty view, and the ship channel view! The ships going by is cool to watch.

Quiet little town, not the hustle & traffic of Galveston.
I like Freeport it’s a close to mid sized town that’s still small enough to not get lost in the city mentality. People seem friendly. Lots of chemical plants, but hey this is Texas
Would not recommend Anchor Motel or Expedia unless you like being harassed, threatened and asked for drugs
Surrounded by industrial parks which really threw me off but at night the lights are actually pretty, the locals were all great (karaoke at Ken's on Saturday nights), walkable restaurants, and a large clean beach with plenty of space for all.
Freeport is sketchy.
