"Always an amazing stay at Portola. Staff is great, location is perfect, rooms are always clean and nice. Even the elevators system they have is fast and convenient. We'll keep coming back."

"The property is clean, and the price is low. The floors in the room are wood laminate, which is better than the stained carpets in the hall. The rooms are right next to a main road, and I was woken by sirens a few times. The mattress felt old and too soft. There is no continental breakfast, and the coffee maker/supplies in the room did not include creamer or stirrer. I asked the front desk and housekeeper, but they didn't have any, so you need to go out for coffee. For a cheap place to crash with no coffee, you could do worse."

"Rooms are small (and you can barely shut the bathroom door when you are in there), but you are paying for the beautiful view. Best feature of the hotel is the lobby, with amazing views of the waves, birds, seals, otters & dolphins. Happy hour at the wine bar starts at 3! There were a few snafus while we were there but the staff went above & beyond to make things right."

"Nos hospedamos solo una noche, mi familia y yo por que veníamos de paso y necesitábamos descansar. El cuarto estaba limpio, espacioso tenía microondas y refrigerador que me fue de gran utilidad por qué llevaba bebes y el lugar muy tranquilo lo recomiendo 100%."

"I'm so excited I found this little treasure. I may travel nurse and have been working in the area off and on for a few years and did not realize this was even here. I wish I could move right in!"

"I had to ask to change room since the one they gave me was with some track of white paint on the floor and the curtains was almost falling apart ... the new room floor I think saw a cleaning the day after was installed and that's it ... Lobby was rude and so the person at the breakfast ... EVERYBODY SHOULD TO STAY REALLY FAR FROM THAT PLACE ..."
