This is a fairly well maintained economy lodge in Salinas. It is on the edge of an area of town that seems a bit rundown, but felt safe and it was conveniently close to a very nice cafe across the street and not far from Old Town and the Steinbeck Center. It was also easy to travel to Monterey for a visit to Cannery Row and the Aquarium . Price point was much better than the coast and the room was comfortable.

Very nice, spruced up motor lodge. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Great for our group of 6 headed to the Steinbeck museum and house. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay...the property is well maintained, centrally located, quiet and safe on-site parking. The rooms are reasonably priced, clean and comfortable...AC, TV, etc. The staff are great and very accommodating. We will definitely be staying there when we return to town. Highly recommend.

I travel to this area a few times a year and this is my first time staying here. I loved how clean it is and everyone on the staff is so nice. the air conditioning worked pretty well. parking waa pretty intense after a certain time. thankfully I had already parked Getting out of the lot was a little tricky in the morning but I managed. I wish the towels were a little bigger and softer but they got the job done. I would definitely stay there again.
