"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"The place is really charming in a peaceful location with great access to forest walks and exploring Schwarzwald. Restaurant dinner was delicious. Very dog friendly place too. But the most important are amazing people running the place - we had left our favorite piece of outdoor outfit and they were so extremely helpful, kind and patient in shipping it back to us! we’re so grateful."

"Pros: Die Gastgeber waren freundlich. Die Ferienwohnung war insgesamt gut und modern ausgestattet. Cons: Trotz guter Ausstattung hatte die Wohnung ein gewisses Kellerambiente. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war für uns nicht stimmig. Darüber hinaus ist dies keine Ferienwohnung für 5 Personen."
