Not ideal for business travellers

Stayed at the Goebel's Schlosshotel for one night during a business trip to the area. The property itself - a old castle - is stunning, but the decoration has not been updated for a long time. However, the rooms are very clean. The check-in staff was charming. However, the restaurant was disappointing and the service stiff. An order that was prepared wrong and send back, did still get charged on the total bill which doesn't speak for a 5 star property. The wifi was very slow and there was limited mobile reception in the room. Overall I would not recommend the hotel for business travellers, but it might be a ok choice for a spa weekend or leisure trip.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, zumal das Gartenfest gerade an diesem Wochenende war. Das Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen, der Wellnessbereich wirklich super und in diesem Jahr kann man den Außenbereich auch intensiv nutzen. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, aber Bad Hersfeld ist in der Nähe. Hervorzuheben ist das tolle Frühstück und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter/innen.

Nach mehreren Aufenthalten kann ich nur eins sagen: keine konstante Leistung! Manche Zimmer sind sehr gut und komfortabel, andere haben Betten wie Jugendherbergen. Sehr ärgerlich.

Das geht besser!

Check-In am Montag abend: der Nachtportier war nicht von der zügigsten Sorte und zog es vor, ersteinmal den Kollegen aus dem Restaurant beim Tagesabschluss behilflich zu sein. aber, ich war gerade 4 Stunden mit der Bahn unterwegs - da kommt es auf ein paar Minuten mehr oder weniger auch nicht an. Nachdem der Check-In erledigt war, ging es an das Erkunden des Zimmers. Das Bett recht tief, mit deutlicher Besucherritze und immer noch recht kleinen Bettdecken. Ich war müde, also ab ins Bett. Leider schien die Laterne des Hotelparkplatzes direkt in mein Zimmer. An Schlaf war also nicht zu denken. Das Hotel war leider ausgebucht - Beschwerde also unsinnig. Nach zwei schlalosen Nächten: geräderte Abreise. Diesmal hat das Hotel keinen Topservice abgeliefert. Ich werde es in drei Wochen noch einmal versuchen.

Tolles Hotel und super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Das Hotel ist nicht weit von der Autobahn entfernt, aber einem ruhigen Ort gelegen. Schon bei der Ankunft überzeugt das Hotel durch die Lage gegenüber der Wasserschlossruine. Innen ist alles auf einem sehr guten Standard und gemütlich. Der Wellnessbereich ist toll, wenn auch etwas unübersichtlich. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel.
