"We had a great stay at this clean, centrally-located home. The host was very responsive and helped us with extending our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed (though we would have preferred if the pots were not non-stick and the plates melamine). "The view was absolutely gorgeous and the location was great. The host was communicative and the side porch was lovely to hang out on. Plus the dock was very cool to have access to. Will be back for sure! Note: I think the listing says one of the bedrooms has two beds in it, and that is not correct. Each room has one full bed in it and the living room has a pull out couch. No big deal, just thought it should be noted. "

"The owner would NOT communicate with us, even when we sent our cell/text number to the email we were instructed to use. Our GPS could not find the property with the address given. Even a Stonington police officer could not find it on her squad car computer. We were past 7PM and EVERY place had NO VACANCY. A woman at the Comfort Inn called a friend in Bar Harbor and we were accommodated (with much room switching). And NOW the owner and the booking agency will not respond to our messages!!! What a horrible experience! (And after 20 years in the US Army, I’m not too hard to please)…"

"This is our third summer vacation at the house and (as always) it was marvelous! Supper clean, comfortable and everything you need in Kitchen to cook at home or on the grille outdoors. We used the house as a base for our day trips and other days we just stayed at the house and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The owners are great to communicate with and there are lots of recommendations in binder/pamphlets at the house for places to visit, eat and shop. Plus there is a very nice 75” TV for the evenings. Just a great place to stay."
