"Beautiful place to stay. We were upgraded to a full view room (we had booked partial view). The rooms are clean and super cute. It’s more like a condo unit w/full kitchen. Walked up to the breakfast restaurant on-site most mornings - yummy breakfast w/great views!"

"In the area to hike at Acadia NP. Stayed 2 weekday nights with my husband and our adult son in a room with 2Q beds. In appearance, it's a typical no-charm motel but there was plenty of space in the room, comfortable beds, and very helpful staff. Breakfast is mostly standard motel food, but yay for the thoughtful selection of some healthier foods like fresh fruit, cups of plain Bob's Red Mill oats (just add water), and energy bars to take hiking. There's also coffee (including decaf) and tea all the time, We had a rental car to get to the park, but we just walked from the motel ~8 minutes to get to the heart of Bar Harbor for restaurants and shops. (Be careful crossing the awkward intersection in front of the motel). Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at how well this place met our needs."

"The property has a gorgeous view to sit and see the ocean. The location was convenient to everything we were visiting in the area. It was nice to have housekeeping services. I thought maybe the room would be a bit bigger but we weren’t there much so it wasn’t that big of a deal."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our glamping experience, though there were several areas for improvement. On the positive side, the tent was incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated our entire family. We particularly appreciated having an en-suite bathroom that was larger than many hotel bathrooms we encountered on our trip. The property itself is beautiful, and we enjoyed the lodge, the pool, the jacuzzi, and the overall scenery and ambiance. However, there were a few drawbacks. The shower in our tent felt somewhat grimy, and the staff across the property seemed burnt out and largely unhelpful. We also experienced issues with our dining at the lodge, where our food was initially served cold, necessitating a remake. We were disappointed to find that the pool closes for children at 8:00 p.m.—a policy that was not disclosed in any of our booking documentation—and it was enforced by staff who seemed uncomfortable with the requirement. Additionally, the firewood provided for our private fire pit was too moist to light, and we were not provided with kindling. Finally, our tent (A-3) faced the busy highway leading to Acadia National Park; the traffic noise was very noticeable, even with earplugs, starting around 7:00 a.m. While we didn't have a bad stay, these issues kept the experience from being as great as it could have been."

"The studio interior was very nice and just as described. The firepit area and outdoor shower were great amenities, but the hot water did run out on one night when all 3 of us took showers. The kitchen area was more well appointed than we expected. The property as a whole is very peaceful and you can see the stars incredibly well.There were a few shortcomings not mentioned in the listing which prevented us from giving 5 stars. For one, the parking situation is extremely tight and our car got blocked in at certain times. It seemed like more land could be cleared to open up additional parking spots when 4-5 cars are being parked at once on the property (and we only had one car for our group). On the last night, we had to leave very early so parked across the road to ensure we would not be blocked in.Also, there is no sound insulation between the first floor and 2nd floor and there is a bedroom and workshop on the first floor of the barn. This was not mentioned until we were about to check in. We were woken up some mornings by noise on the first floor."

"Very lovely spot to stay a few days to explore the island. The cottage was clean and everything was convenient. Since you have to bring all your food and drink its location was perfect. Overlooking the harbor was the best part of our stay. Will definitely plan to return."
