Fantastic short stay - book it - you wont regret it!

We had a lovely short stay at this wonderful property.Ahead of our stay we had great communications with Carmen and Alfonso provided great suppot during our stay.The house is lovely and kept immaculately clean. The kitchen has all required appliances and has lots of cutlery, plates, glasses etc etc.Outside there are lots of locations to sit, eat and relax.The pool area is lovely with a large dining table, a fridge, built in BBQ and sun loungers.The location while only a few minutes drive out of town is lovely and quiet with great views over the valley and down to the sea.Overall we had a lovely stay - even the power cut that the whole of Spain experienced was an adventure - it was lovely sitting in the candlelight enjoy a glass of wine!

Einrichtung, Lage, Blick aufs Meer - eine perfekte Ferienwohnung. Ruhig gelegen in der Nähe des malerischen Frigiliana. Alfonso und Carmen sind überaus freundliche Gastgeber. Das Haus kann man nur empfehlen. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Great hideaway

Perfect retreat

Beautiful well equipped house with amazing views down to the sea, lovely pool area and gardens, peaceful and private. I’be been visiting this area for the past fifteen years and this is probably one of the nicest houses I’ve stayed in. The house is very easy to find close to the town of Frigiliana, Alfonso and Carmen are perfect hosts Just a phone call away if you have any questions. I’m looking forward to return soon,

A hidden gem

A beautiful cortijo/Villa just above the village of Frigiliana. Views of the sea and coast from the well maintained and landscaped gardens with numerous places to sit and relax and take in the views and the smell of the surrounding pine trees. We have stayed in numerous villas over the past twenty years in the Frigiliana area and this is one of the best.

Amazing Stay

We had such a lovely stay at this property - when we arrived we were stunned at how beautiful the home and location are. Communication for check-in was seamless and flexible, we communicated with Alejandro via Whatsapp and this made things nice and easy. The property itself was so beautiful, nice and clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Both bedrooms and living room had a/c which was a real luxury. The pool area was incredible and a real peaceful haven nestled into the amazing landscape. Really would recommend a stay here!

Lovely cottage just above Frigiliana

We very much enjoyed our stay in Carmen’s beautiful cottage. It is very well-equipped and hence extensive outdoors. It is a bit of a walk to the village - certainly on the way back (up) but the views are gorgeous. Carmen and Alfonso are wonderful hosts and easy to communicate with. Muchas gracias!

What an amazing place!

Carmen and Alfonso are really nice people (thank you both!) and the villa is without a doubt, the best holiday home my wife and I have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped. A great location only a stones throw from Frigiliana. Close enough to the coast for easy access but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be really peaceful. We thought we would use the house as a base to explore Andalusia from but it’s such a great place that we spent most of our time there. We will be back!

Delightful farm house

The pictures don’t do this charming delightful villa justice. It is very well equipped, beautiful decor even down to the fresh flowers in the bedroom. Wonderful week highly recommend. Alfonso there to greet when we arrived and very helpful when needed.

Brilliant stay in gorgeous villa

The house was spotless and really nicely done. The view from the property was amazing as well the garden and pool. We could walk into Frigliana in 20 minutes which is a beautiful town with lots of lovely places to eat. Alfonso and Carmen were really helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a brilliant time

Utterly charming

Everything absolutely perfect. We had stayed here almost ten years ago and the place is as good as it ever was. The pool is fabulous and wonderfully private. The house is very well equipped and maintained, with everything you need. Alfonso and Carmen are great hosts. We've already booked again for next year.😁

Another fabulous stay

We had the pleasure of staying again in this lovely property, everything was as we remembered, clean, quiet and well equipped, many quiet seating areas to disappear to if you wanted to be on your own with a good book and a coffee,comfy beds and beautiful swimming pool area with coverered seating area and bar b que, less than 5 minutes to the wonderful Frigiliana and another 15 to Nerja, stunning villa owned by the lovely Carmen who was always on the end of a phone if need be, book Fuenta Santa as I can assure you that you will not be disappointed, Regards John

Lovely stay at Fuenta Santa

Lovely secluded property, not overlooked and very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here and very much liked the various outdoor areas which provided shade if needed. Beautiful well kept gardens with various fruit trees, cactus and pines. The cottage itself had a lovely homely feel, very clean and comfortable and well situated near the village of Frigiliana. Great communication with Alfonso and Carmen and check in went very smoothly. All in all, a great stay and we would recommend this property to others. A little piece of paradise

As soon as we arrived we knew it was going to be special. The view is stunning and the surrounding land/garden is kept beautifully. The house is perfect for a couple or a family of 4. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable which is rare! The kitchen is well equipped as is the laundry. The pool and outdoor kitchen are fantastic. All done so well. The location was perfect for us.We are hoping to stay again next year! Thank you Carmen and Alfonso for making our stay so wonderful!

Beautiful & Relaxing House & Pool

This is a beautiful property with beautiful views. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. It's is very clean and Carmen and Alfonso are a pleasure to deal with. The pool is great and a good size. The house is well equipped and comfortable but the highlight of the house is the outdoor space. So many different places to sit and read and have a cup of tea. Frigliana is walkable but it is a very steep walk back so a car is preferable.

Besser gehts nicht

Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Haus. Die Kommunikation vor Ort war sehr gut und Carmen und Alsfonso haben bei Fragen immer sofort reagiert. Dabei wsr nichts zu beanstanden. Wir waren noch nie in einer Unterkunft, die so sauber und perfekt eingerichtet war. Wie such schon in anderen Bewertungen beschrie en, können die Bilder nicht mit der Realität mithalten, weil es noch viel schöner war. Die Sitzecken sind alle sehr gemütlich. Also final für alles 5 Sterne.

Simply Stunning

The property far exceeded our wildest dreams. There was constant communication with Carmen and Alfonso regards arrival times. Alfonso was very helpful and provided GPS locations for supermarkets nearby so we could stop my on our way to the property for supplies. We spent pretty much the whole holiday in either the outside areas taking in the stunning views or in the swimming pool. As another guest put it, “ a little bit of paradise on earth”. I would highly recommend.

A wonderfull stay

North of Frigiliana runs the MA5105. Along it are several houses with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. One of these houses is Fuente Santa. A lovely house, fully equipped, with a fantastic view, a covered terrace and below that a terrace by the pool where you can sit in the sun until after 5 pm in December/January. The house has wifi, a television (which we did not use), a wood stove and every room has air conditioning, which both heats and cools.The house is beautifully sheltered, in an area where there is a lot to do. Walking in the mountains to El Fuerte is recommended, for example; the village of Frigiliana is beautiful (touristy, that is). From Frigiliana you can do various walks: to Nerja, through the riverbed, to El Acebuchal and further to Cómpeta. The landlords are extremely hospitable and approachable. In short, a fantastic place and worth it.
