"Town and Country is the only hotel I could find within an easy (45 minute) drive to Mount Washington, as we had tickets for the Mount Washington Cog Railway. As it seems to be the only one nearby, there was quite a diverse population staying. The rooms were nice, even though we were in the back of the hotel. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, and they were pretty good. While we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food did look delicious and the menu was pretty large."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the White Mountain Hotel. The hotel is charming and the staff are excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfasts were very good. We really enjoyed sitting in the lobby in the evening by the fireplace and meeting other guests. I would highly recommend."

"We had a pleasant stay here. The balcony with the view was a great feature to have. We didn't get to use the amenities (pool, game room, putt putt golf) but they all looked great and inviting. I would love to stay here in warmer months! The hotel does seem older. While it's decently maintained, it does show it's age in some yellowing, and in the stale smell that lingered."

"The suite rooms in Carriage house were roomy and nicely furnished. The bed height was extreme. My wife who is 5'3" had to climb up from narrow edge around the bed which is dangerous in middle of night. I had to jump up to get in bed. Not sure of the purpose of having the bed surface place so high above the floor. A foot stool for shorter people should be added or the bed lowered"
