"Well positioned for the beach and restaurants. Didn't like the fact that the Sky Bar was closed because the World Cup was on which is a bit strange as there isn't even a TV up there. It was really annoying."

"Loved our teepee tent with kitchenette and lounge and deck was a bonus. Well equipped and clean. Steep ladder to loft room which retained heat unless the air con was left on all day. Lovely camp site, good size pool with slide, massages are excellent but the spa area was disappointing with moderate pressure jets in the jacuzzi and steam room out of order. Friendly staff and helpful. BP next door handy for supplies. Only downside is the 30min walk into town."

"An amazing hotel, we had a last minute villa cancellation and a group of 12 golfers to find accommodation for with one days notice. Hotel Higueron, found us 6 rooms with king beds but on arrival offered us twin rooms at no extra charge. The service was brilliant, friendly and welcoming. The sports facilities on a par with La Manga with an array of padel, tennis and volleyball courts as well as fully equipped gym with lane swimming pool and topped off with a rather instagrammable rooftop bar with infinity pool which looked like it dropped straight into the med! Finally the food options and quality were culinary delight. No buffets here, a choice of 3 à la carte restaurants, with tapas tasting menu, Japanese tasting menu and the straight up Spanish Main hotel restaurant. All offering quality tasty fare. Well done Hotel Higueron and all your staff. A delighted golf society tour Director!!"
