As soon as we got there he took a picture of us in front of Fuji, offered us a drink in the lobby was very hands on with helping operations. They even had announcements on the intercom when Fuji came out of the clouds. Out of all the places we stayed while in Japan this one was my absolute favourite. "

"A very thoughtful set up and breakfast is way better than how they advertised it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Free shuttle to Kawaguchigo station but only 20 min walk if you want to do it. A 7 min walk to a grocery stores which open kind of late at 9am. Not too many restaurants around so plan accordingly. "

After we climb the Mt Fuji and unable to walk further from our car to the main door, the staff will greet us from afar and help us with the luggage’s, not for tips but for their professionalism and values they cherish much. The staff were some of the kindest and most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. Discreet but always there when needed, with a level of attention that feels almost forgotten in today’s world. It’s more than a hotel — it’s an experience of Japanese culture, stillness, and deep respect for nature. I honestly hope my descendants can visit this place another 1,300 years from now. It’s worth preserving forever."
