This was such a perfect location my only regret was not staying longer. Having a perfect view of Mt Fuji from your bed was life changing. The hospitality we saw while staying will forever be unmatched highly highly recommend staying here if you’re ever near the area.

Amazing onsen in a sweet mountain town. Definitely a bit out of the way of the other Mt. Fuji resorts but I found that perfect as it was lovely and quiet in the best ways. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

I had a wonderful stay with my young teenage daughter. It waas one of our most memorable experiences during our first visit to Japan. We loved our room - Asumi A Western Room with Open Air Bath and a view of the majestic Mt Fuji. The grounds were beautiful. Dinner was great and we loved dining in our room. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very friendly and the customer service was top notch. During our stay, my daughter accidentally left her rings in one of the bathrooms in our room and didn’t realize it until much later. To our surprise, the hotel contacted us, letting us know they had found the rings. Not only did they hold onto them safely, but they also went the extra mile and arranged to have the rings sent to the next hotel we were staying at. Their honesty, care, and willingness to help made a lasting impression on us. We already can't wait to return in December and experience their hospitality again. Highly recommend!

We booked this hotel as a rest stop between Tokyo and Kyoto. It exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, lots of amenities on site. Dinner and breakfast were great. Felt like like we were at a resort. Highly recommend booking a room with a private onsen, we had one with a view of Mount Fuji and it was serene. I regret not staying here longer.

I would go again, the servixe was top of the line!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was impecable to the start until the end of the stat! The dinner was great and the amenities and activities were perfect. I would recommend if you want to experience how the boogie people love for one night! I would go again!

Was very surprised about this place! The service, staff, amenities, property, and food were great! Mt Fuji was even out! There's a shuttle that takes you to and from the station or even the lake! Our only complaint is that we wish we stayed here longer.

The service was outstanding, the property gorgeous and the food was excellent. This property is a bucket list ryokan experience. Upgrade to the Beso Sassa level rooms. The private patio with onsen and view of mount Fuji was spectacular. I must go back again in my life.

What an experience! Definitely worth the money. Our room had an amazing view of Mt Fuji. The kaiseki and breakfast were amazing and delicious. The premises are gigantic with a huge Japanese garden that’s mesmerizing and a great location for unforgettable pics. Highly recommend to spend 1-2 nights there, you won’t regret it. Clearly one of the highlights of our trip.

Amaaazing from reception to check out. Soo many service staff eager to help and English translation menus and info. Also def come early for all the activities you can partake in! Lounge room with alcohol until 6p, garden with tea, welcome drink, onsens, taiko, bingo, live piano. You are kept busy the whole time til you sleep!

The room is not so big at Bessho Sasa Hotel, and the price we paid sounds unreasonable. The good thing is the dinner was good and delicious, we are very full. The Mount Fuji view from the rooftop onsen was the best part of the hotel.
