"The resort truly surprised us with the location & amenities. The room was small & clean, bed & pillows comfortable, they had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker with quite a few coffees & creamers. Shampoo, Conditioners, lotions & soaps in the bathroom were great. They had 2 complimentary bottles of water, some pretzels, popcorn which was a nice touch. Additionally & most appreciated was the 2 nice beach chairs and soft-sided cooler to use for the beach! The Big Tiki was great, they offered a couple of bogo coupons which we took full advantage of & then some. Minor downsides & not big at all, the pool was extremely warm & not refreshing, it was hot so it’s hard to regulate so it may not be helped but felt like they filter the same water through vs some new fresh water. That may also just be to save water which we can also appreciate. The pool area was nice & clean, with shower & shade, restrooms, plenty of loungers. They have a great towel replacement system but our towels weren’t picked up or replaced even though we put them out prior to the set times. Only happened once & just reused the towels that were damp. They dried out quickly in the heat. The last was the guy using the leaf blower between 7-7:30 in the morning on Saturday right outside the rooms …we were already stirring but felt for the families on the first level where it must have been louder. Again, these are all small & won’t stop us from going back or referring to others! Already looking for our next visit!"

"We had such a great stay at The Don CeSar and can’t wait to come again! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with smiles and kindness. A special shoutout to the amazing valet crew—especially Denis, who was always so friendly and welcoming. Our son, absolutely loved interacting with him! At check-in, Nick at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind, setting the tone for a great stay. And a big thank you to Julian for his exceptional hospitality—he went above and beyond by filling my bottle with ice when I was in a rush. It’s those thoughtful little moments that really made a difference. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, and the entire staff at the pool and bar were fantastic—from the bartenders to the team who helped us find seats and even laid out our towels. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The Don CeSar had everything we needed and more. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Truly an amazing team and hotel—we’ll definitely be back!"

"Great stay at the Compass-Anna Maria Island . Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful views of the water and marina access next door. Great restaurant called Floridays next door had great food and atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to others and I look forward to returning .😊"

"The staff at the front desk and at the pool were very pleasant and attentive. Parking Was expensive in my opinion, but the guys and girls would run around and get your car when you needed. Valet only. No microwave to heat anything up even though it’s always hot in Florida. "

"The bed was firm, but the property was quiet, clean, and comfortable. This was one if the most relaxing getaways I've been on. I would definitely stay here again!"
