A Perfect Home Away from Home – Can’t Wait to Return

"We had a truly wonderful stay at this spacious and beautifully maintained home in Lower Sackville! With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it was absolutely perfect for our family—there was plenty of space for everyone to relax, unwind, and feel right at home.The decor was stunning, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the entire space was incredibly comfortable. One of the absolute highlights was the private hot tub in the backyard—such a perfect way to relax in the evenings. We also really enjoyed the BBQ setup, which made for some amazing family meals outdoorsThe home was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and the hosts went above and beyond with their communication—always responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We loved it so much, we're already planning to book again in the fall!"

Bright sunny B&B overlooking Bedford Basin

Relaxing & Convenient

"We had a lovely stay. Amrit was very responsive, and gave us all the information we needed prior to checking in and once we’d arrived. The location is a bit outside Halifax but still close enough that we had no issues getting where we wanted to go and the parking was great. The kitchen, while not a full kitchen, was still stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed for a five night stay. Everything was very clean and we’d love to stay again if our travels bring us back to the area. "

Beautiful Space

"We absolutely this space. It was bright with lots of large windows and spacious in size. It had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The only disappointment was the advertisement stated the beds were supremely comfortable, and they were not comfy at all. Other than that we loved everything about the place and would stay again, but perhaps bring a foam mattress with us for the bed. Easy check-in and check-out. Easy parking and we did not have to pay. We stayed on the weekend, so parking was not an issue, however there is an optical business downstairs, and this may make parking more difficult during the week. The stairs to the apartment are very long and steep, so would not recommend for anyone with mobility or arthritis issues. Nice deep soaker tub. TV has a Firestick, so lots of shows and movies to watch. The advertisement states there is no ac, but we did notice portable ac units in the closets. It is a busy street, so you hear traffic and trains, however everything quieted down my 11 p.m. "

Did NOT Meet Vrbo Standards

"Vrbo promises we are the only ones there... This property had people living in the basement and we could hear them through the floor and smell their cooking. One night they had friends over until 11:45pm. The bathroom had black mold around the tube and window There was wall paper falling over on the towels in the closet There were loose electrical cords on the floor. The TV required you have your own subscription plans (except YouTube). I did submit a report to Vrbo and they basically said contact the owner... I thought Vrbo would want to intervene first to attempt to maintain their image."
