Great communication from the hosts Hezron & Judy even before arrival so we knew what to expect and giving options for transportation and a personal chef.The location is truly special and away from the hotels, tourists, touts etc of some other locations. "Wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff was welcoming and always ready to help, making the experience even more enjoyable for most part. The rooms were well maintained, and the amenities met all our needs. For future travelers, I recommend booking early to secure the best rates and room options. If available, request a room away from elevators for a quieter stay. Be sure to check what amenities are included with your reservation and take advantage of any complimentary breakfast or shuttle services. Overall, a great hotel that I would happily stay at again and recommend to others. Great for solo travelers."

"We stayed in room 23 which is like the penthouse suite. The balcony overlooks the ocean and was a wonderful place to watch the sunset. This is a lovely property. The landscaping is unique, the food is good, the bartender and staff are thoughtful and accommodating. Also, the spa was quiet, comfortable and relaxing."

"It was better than our expectations. The apartment exceeded our expectations – comfortable beds (quite firm) and good pillows. There was AC in two of the rooms and fans in all three. There was no frying pan, but we simply asked the staff for one and they arranged it right away. The staff were very friendly and helpful – both the pool attendant, the reception staff, and the guards at the gate. The pool was nice and well maintained. There was also a restaurant, and the food was very good. We highly recommend the Swahili curry chicken! Breakfast was available for 700 KES. It was an à la carte breakfast, and we could simply tell them what we wanted. The laundry service also worked very well. The hotel is located about 5–10 minutes walk from the beach. There is also a large supermarket nearby. It costs around 200–300 KES to get there by tuk tuk. We highly recommend Lotfa to anyone who wants to travel to Diani Beach on a budget trip 💜"
