"Stunning We nearly never booked this hotel based on some reviews and the pics made it look a little dated. I’m so glad we did. It’s not dated, it’s classic, it’s grand and magical. The grounds to the pool are stunning, the pool makes you feel you are chilling by a millionaires house, not a hotel. The location couldn’t be better, everything is close by and walkable. We didn’t even go to the beach, as the pool was too nice to leave. "

"Situated in the beautiful village of Castlemola, this comfortable hotel offers unrivalled views of Mount Etna. Well worth getting a room with a balcony and mountain view. Breakfast was good and varied and the staff extremely accommodating. A few of our evening meals were taken at the nearby Caverna restaurant which is also owned by the hotel (with discount available for guests). A great walk down to Taormina was well worth the effort but keep an eye on the bus times as Taxis can be expensive. All in all, an absolutely delightful stay. "
