"It is clear that the hotel’s glory days are in the past. There are indications of what it was like then but sadly also signs of its fall from grace. The positives were that the hotel was well situated, was clean, the views spectacular and entertainment was good. The staff were fine but there were few of them. The restaurant was very disappointing and food was mediocre at best. We even skipped breakfast. There was also a lot of noise in our room from seagulls nesting outside but fortunately they were quiet at night."

"Best part of the Hotel the staff friendly and welcoming . Personally would never stay again . The building is grand unfortunately time and the owners have not been kind to it. Very dated and neglected in parts. Appreciate that it’s a budget hotel but come on owners update the facilities. Paid £17:95 for a one course meal in the buffet restaurant was not worth it my opinion. So did not stay for breakfast had at a local cafe instead."

"Breakfast not included so cannot comment. Bar dinner night before excellent, wonderful beer selection with helpful staff offering free tasters to sample. Room was clean, bathroom clean. Special event on main floor really loud, but our room on 3rd floor well out of earshot."

"The room was so hot when we arrived and the window only opened a fraction. It took a while for it to cool down. The window latch was a bit dodgy as was the toilet seat. There was no signal on the TV so couldnt watch it. However the bed was so comfy and the room was clean. The lounge and breakfast room were lovely and the Breakfast was delicious. Very nice stay woll come again."

"We love it here. The local area and surrounds are stunning. The hotel and grounds are lovely, the rooms have comfy beds and pillows. The staff are very warm, friendly and efficient and the food onsite, very delicious. Thank you for another wonderful stay."
