"The Elmwood is an enchanting place to rest our vacation weary bodies. The Violet, the owner, was very accomodating to our ask for an extention to our stay. Both of the rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and full of memories of a past life with past occupants of the Inn.
This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting the Charlottetown area"

"Breakfast egg, cheese, and bacon on English muffin very good. Also offered scrambled eggs with ham and toast, or waffles with blueberries. Nice rooms, lots of hot water, in room coffee keurig. Good stay. "
"Very quaint, clean, comfortable inn with carpeted floors with very friendly and accommodating staff. The suite had a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower stall, and double vanity. We appreciated the mini-fridge with a freezer component and a microwave in the room. The parking on premise was a bonus, as is the ability to walk to the harbor and downtown area within 8-10 minutes.
There is no restaurant service but a small bar area that serves beer and wine. "
"Unique historic property with central location and free parking. Welcoming to children and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and exceptionally clean rooms. "
"We absolutely loved our time here. Lovely hotel, gracious staff, and a beautiful walkable community. I felt safe here and enjoyed the historic buildings and diverse food options. The people were the best though. Would definitely return and definitely recommend The Great George to anyone."
