This was our first time staying at Aldrich Guest House, but we will definitely be back. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! A short walk to the shops, the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our last minute getaway stay.

I liked the friendliness of the owners and staff. The breakfast was incredible.

Beautiful old building, redone in contemporary style. Very comfortable and clean. Outdoor area has a private New Orleans courtyard vibe. Great location-we parked the car and walked to everything we wanted to do.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Lefevre Inn and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The resort is small (only 11 rooms and a few cabins), so it is quiet and low-key. The location is wonderfully removed from downtown Galena, but still close enough to everything to make day trips easy and relaxed. Our room was perfectly located, on the second floor facing the woods and overlooking the pool. This room was truly the most peaceful place I have ever stayed! The...

This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast. The home was beautiful and decorated for Halloween 🎃 The room was clean. We had a private bathroom. The food was wonderful and Carol was a wonderful hostess. We will definitely recommend to others and plan to stay again in the future.

Great Staff and Location Room and the entire property was in awesome condition Can’t wait to get back!

This has to be the most incredible place on earth! Loved visiting with Candence while there and the 4 HUGE turkeys, beautiful buck, so many birds! Cozy & Roomy! Cant think of o e negative thing PERIOD! TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! THANK YOU for everything you have done to preserve such an incredible place! My wife and I really loved it here! MAGICAL!!!!

Great place to stay if you are visiting the Galena area. Just east of town. The amenities and the on-site restaurant are great!

Lovely person at front desk carried luggage up for us since no elevator.

The stay was good. We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and wanted to be alone, away from the kids. There was only one small problem: we were in a room directly across from a couple with about five children; they would not stay in the rooms and spent a lot of time screaming and running up and down the hallways. No one seemed to care, and that was both nights between 11-11::30pm. We are elderly; afraid to go out of the room for fear of being knocked over by one of the children. I know...

The property was comfortable and staff was very kind!

The place looks like a fantasy, a castle in Illinois, each room different, unusual, charming. Most charming: the owners, who very sincerely want their guests to love the place. Our room was huge, with a gigantic spa bath and a fireplace; our dog was welcome (for a fee); the breakfasts were stunningly good (included in the room price); the grounds are lovely; the area is fun, pretty and interesting.

Quaint and out-of-the-way, very unexpected from what I thought it was going to be like, but in a great way. It felt very secluded (maybe because we drove in at night during a Severe Thunderstorm) and private, which led to the fun and adventure of family vacation! Although the rooms and bathrooms are dated - updated as well as they can be within the footprint of the layout - everything was super clean! My husband even noted how clean the grout was in the bathroom, which is something rarely seen...

It was fine nothing to complain about we would stay again

The rust and need of paint on way to 304. Including the stairs

Second time staying here. Clean rooms, staff is friendly and helpful. Next to Blauhm Bros which is perfect for a nightcap.

Great property!! My go to place every year.

Great place very nice will stay again; poor cell signal in area.

We needed to change hotels quick, as kids were along and they wanted a pool to swim in. A few surrounding hotels pool's were closed, and this one wasn't. Sure glad we got to stay here!! Super clean, kitchenettes in each room, ours had a full size fridge, 2-burner cook top, full size microhood, and lots of space! Hot breakfast was very good too. Great location by local brew houses and walking to many places. Easy access to hwy. Only issue were the trains at night that we didn't know about yet...
