My Happy Place. Located in Long Bay Point Condos. This 2 story end unit with a view of Lake Galena, has 3 bedrooms (1 king bd and 2 queen beds) and a pull out couch in the loft and 3 bathrooms. Book this condo for your family get away or a great rental for a friends’ weekend away. It is conveniently in Galena Territory. Long Bay Point has its own outdoor pool and has beautiful walking paths. Access to Owners Club where you can enjoy indoor, outdoor and kiddie pools; state of the art fitness center; indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, game room. The Galena Territories offer many activities to choose from including horseback riding, zip lining, hiking, wine tours, whisky tasting, fishing, shopping, skiing, boat rentals, and more. Fireplace (firewood provided), TV in each bedroom; main living area and loft area. There is a screened in porch and a balcony with a view of Lake Galena. All dishware, silverware, cookware, linens, provided in kitchen. Linens also provided in all bathrooms. Fullsize washer and dryer provided with detergents. 7 miles to beautiful, downtown Galena for shopping, trolley tours, and walk the steps that Ulsses S. Grant walked when he lived here. Just a short distance to Chestnut Mountain.
The Galena Territory is a Certified Dark Sky Community. So bring your telescope or your favorite stargazer app to explore the night sky.
• Access cards are provided for use at the Owners Club. Additional guest passes may be Purchased at the Owners Club ($5 per day for anyone over 5 years of age)
**All COVID-19 RELATED RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED FOR THE OWNERS CLUB INCLUDING CAPACAITY LIMITS AND RESERVATIONS FOR MOST AMENITIES. There are a few that still do require reservations – indoor pool/lam swimming, tennis courts, pickleall courts and basketball courts. This is subject to change if the State of Illinois re-institutes restrictions related to the pandemic. Reservations cannot be guaranteed, and there are no discounts or refunds if the Owner’s Club amenities are not available.

We have stayed here before so knew how wonderful it was and we wanted to introduce our friends to it and the Galena experience. Once again it was a very enjoyable stay. Everyone loved the cleanse 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. I was perfectly supplied and organized. Ot sit out on the porch in the morning and have our coffee was very relaxing. Familtya rea was used the most so we all could sit and talk in a homey comfortable surrounding.Our friends were amazed at the overall cleanse, comfort, kitchen and bedrooms. We all will definitely be back again soon!!! Thank You Annette!!!!

Galena Trip

The condo was nice and clean and had everything needed, however, stairs were difficult with 4 year old and elderly mother. The house was a little warm upstairs and never did get cool enough, but fans were in the closets to use. I contacted the owner about the master bedroom TV not working, but never heard back.

Overall 5 star visit. Nice location. Only minor issues--could use clear explanations on door lock as well as adjusting thermostat. Very comfortable, nice fireplace.

Fall Getaway

Senior ladies Galena trip

Nice location, close to Galena. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful condo, well equipped, and nicely arranged. It wasn't clear it was on the 3rd floor, a bit unhandy for seniors. Front door sticks and is hard to open and close. Needs repaired. Other than minor issues, we had a great time. Host was helpful, but needs to respond in a more timely manner. All You Want

Check in was seamless and host was quick to respond to all inquires. Place was clean and well kept. Nice quiet location with close by paths down to the lake front. Easy 10 minute drive to downtown Galena. Would definitely stay here again.

Family long weekend

The property is absolutely beautiful. The screened porch and trails feature natures beauty. The porch provided relaxation and enjoyment without being bothered by the bugs. The weather was perfect and allowed us to have a lot of pool time. Loved my stay.

More details needed

Difficulty getting into the condo wrong code given which happens but could not get a hold of the owner. Also need more details that for the Owners Club there are only two passes. We made the assumption that since the condo holds 8 there would be more than 2 passes. Was just surprised when we went to use the facility. Just need more details on that since we also thought the pink wrist bands were for all pools The condo was very nice and worked well for our family

Wonderful condo!

We had a great stay at this condo. In my opinion, the pictures don't do it justice! It was decorated so nicely. The kitchen is compact, but it was fully stocked! Nice dishes and plenty of glassware along with so much cookware, etc! They've thought of everything. We like to cook all of our meals at the condo, so this was greatly appreciated. I really can't think of one negative thing to say about this place. It was even better than we had expected. And that's saying a lot! We like to take roadtrips and stay at nice places....and can be rather picky, so that's saying alot! Oh.....possibly our favorite part was the private swimming pool available for that condo complex! Within walking distance, it was much nicer and bigger than we had expected. We got there early the 2 days we went and had the pool to ourselves for a good while. We felt like we were living the high life! Lol! We had planned to use the pool at the Owners Club but with such a nice pool there, there was no need to. Just one more thing....Annette was very responsive every time I contacted her to ask a question, which was greatly appreciated. I would love to stay at this place again.

Annual July 4th Trip

Our family has been meeting in Galena for the 4th of July for 7 years. This was our second stay here and it definitely will not be our last. Very clean and lots of space for our family to play board games and hang out together.

Sisters Trip

We stayed for 2 nights (next time we will stay longer!). The space was perfect and very peaceful. Everything was very clean and very nice. We loved the screened in porch! Perfect for unwinding after shopping. The woods are directly behind the property so it was nice listening to the birds and relaxing! We will definitely book this space again!! And stay longer!

Stay was great fun with great friends. We struggled w tv to watch Kentucky derby. More tv instruction would gave been appreciated. Did not know we had to bring our own shampoo and soap.

Girls weekend

We were all very impressed with this property. I have stayed in a LOT of rental properties in the territory, and this was by far the cleanest!! We were only there one night, so we didn't have the opportunity to utilize much of what the home had to offer (kitchen, fireplace, games, etc.). However it appeared to be adequately stocked! The views were beautiful and I would love to come back in a warmer season to enjoy the deck and porch!! Check in/out was very simple as well. Keep up the great work Annette!

Girls get-a-way

Beautiful and comfy home for a family vacation, romantic retreat or a friend get-a-way weekend. Wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating and tasteful decor. We had the best time shopping in Galena only to retreat back to our home to watch movies and relax by the fireplace. It was perfect for our group!
