Stunning views, amazing gathering spaces, hot tub

Bring your family or friends to enjoy this lovely retreat in the Galena Territory. Step out to the deck to enjoy the stunning view of the Driftless Region any season whether dining, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows, or star gazing.

Lower level (entry level) houses 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom, along with laundry facilities. The larger bedroom has both a queen bed and a sleeper sofa.

The upper level features open concept living, dining and kitchen spaces plus a third bedroom and full bathroom. Relax around the fireplace and just hang out together.

The kids will love the loft for playing games and hanging out. The loft also houses a futon for an additional sleeping option. What kid wouldn't want to sleep in the "tree house?"

Please note: we're situated on a hill side, set into a bluff. That means stunning views but it also means LOTS of steps!

We are pet friendly with a $50 pet fee for additional cleaning often needed when furry friends come along. Please be sure to add pets to your reservation and the fee will be added.

Beautiful Galena Property

This was a great location not far from Downtown Galena. My family and I enjoyed the beautiful view with the changing fall colors. Sarah was very responsive and provided everything we could need for our stay. I would stay here again without hesitation!

A wonderful stay and awesome neighborhood. The views are so beautiful. So many touches were appreciated from simple hand and dish soap to labeled drawers and cupboards. We wished we would have stayed longer. Galena is a beautiful, fun town!!

Great Weekend Family Getaway

The property offered all the comforts of home and a great view. Nice open main floor plan and well equipped kitchen. Instructions and labels were so helpful and thoughtful. The close by owners club was a big hit for basketball and game room.

Fall Galena Getaway

We loved the very peaceful setting in this area, so pretty. The deck was great for just sitting and enjoying the wonderful views . Also, we liked that we could let our dog out on deck with us to roam free with us blocking the steps with chairs. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have the downstairs for other family to have privacy. Sarah was very good at making sure everything was okay with our stay. We would love to come back again.

Perfect place for a girls trip!

This home exceeded our expectations! It was immaculately clean and decorated adorably for Christmas. We really appreciated all of the attention to detail with the QR codes making it easy to look up everything from the thermostat instructions to how to operate the fireplace! The beds were very comfortable and the home was well stocked. We look forward to visiting again!

Property is really amazing. They have thought of everything one would need to stay and be comfortable- condiments, coffee, s’more fixings, just all the little things. Home is nicely labeled so you can find things. Love the deck with amazing views! Love the location for enjoying the owners club. Perfect place to unwind!

Galena rental with spectacular views

The house was clean and well furnished. Wonderful views of the hilly, wooded countryside with plenty of wildflowers and serenading songbirds. The only real issue was that due to the house being located on a hillside, all the stairs were steep which was a bit challenging for folks in their 70’s.

Amazing home!

Sarah’s place was beautiful! My family loved the home and we had such a great time. Thank you for responding to all my questions in a timely manner. The house was great, very clean and updated. The kitchen was well equipped. Very relaxing hanging out by the fireplace! The host was communicative and answered all my questions promptly. I liked that they even had some fall decor out. I would definitely book this property again.

Excellent Galena Experience

We had a Mom’s night away with 5 of us in Galena. The house was beautiful. We kept stating how they thought of everything and had such cute touches on the home. We enjoyed the hot tub and there were plenty of places for all of us to sleep. The view was absolutely beautiful. We would love to see it in the fall. Comfy Christmas

Meeting in the middle, this was a superb home for our family to celebrate Christmas together. There was ample space to both gather and sleep. We all had comfortable seating to open gifts, dining and visiting. The kitchen had everything we needed for dinner prep. The property and location are beautiful and well maintained. We would return without hesitation. This home is gem!

Beyond happy!

As some other reviewers have mentioned, the pictures don’t do it justice. Backyard faces the woods and front view is phenomenal. Sarah was great to deal with and is a superb host. House was conveniently labeled throughout and includes all the amenities you need. Allowing our pet to stay was a bonus. Highly recommended and will book again.

Ladies weekend

The house was spacious and open. The beds comfy and the dishes and pans well stocked in the kitchen, we had plenty of towels and bathroom items which can be hard to come by at some places. The view… stunning. We ventured out on a hike and explored the trails on the fall afternoon. Loved that we didn’t have a “to-do” list of cleaning tasks as we checked out. Very well labeled and communicative.

Cozy Cabin in the Cliff

We booked a last minute getaway to Galena and this home stood out from all the other options! Communication with Sarah was great and she responded very quickly to some questions we had. Arriving at the home, it is tucked up on a hill backing up to a beautiful wooded backdrop. Upon entering the home, you feel the coziness of the home with every possible amenity you can imagine. The lower level has 2 great size bedrooms with queen beds, a full bathroom and laundry/ utility area. Walking up the stairs into the main level is where you will spend most of your time enjoying the open concept of the home along with the gorgeous views of the Galena Territory. The open concept kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary items to cook any meal. Large table to enjoy dinner at, and plenty of seating space with couches and chairs by the fireplace and TV area. There is a 3rd bedroom on the main level and another full bath! Loft area is great hangout spot for children with some board games, toys, and building blocks. Pull out sofa also available. We unfortunately did not get to enjoy the amazing wrap around deck with firepit or screened in porch as it go down to the mid 30's at night in mid October, but that is definitely one of the biggest highlights of the property. Nice gas fire pit to enjoy the nights looking at beautiful clear night sky full of stars. Definitely a site to take in. Since property is situated on top of a hill against a cliff, there is a good amount of stairs!
