The Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria
10/10 Excellent
"Check-In took a while however room was nice and spacious. Bathroom a bit dated and no full length mirror. Did have an issue with elevator and almost was stuck. Did the breakfast option and it was nice. No microwave but did have hidden fridge. Wifi was a bit spotty. Bed was comfy."
The Chifley Houston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"Mostly great stay! Easy and friendly check in, large and comfortable rooms...very nice to have a suite. Cold AC, comfy beds. A few tiny snags....no one answered at guest services when I called, unsure if this was a no one at the desk issue or a phone issue? I called from my cell and got someone. Room service is to go (man, I really miss proper room service!) and just ok, my coffee was cold and no butter for my toast. I don't mind paying extra for room service, but I'd love to receive everything really hot and presented well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property....pricing was very reasonable for uptown Houston too!"
