"we had a fantastic week. the view was spectacular with Albania in the distance with the sun rising above the mountains. The villa was spacious and clean. kitchen had all we needed, we used the outside space well, including the BBQ. Lucy the cat hung out with us all week too! The pool was in the sun most of the day and plenty of room to bask. we rented a car which made our stay much easier. thank you so much for a great stay."

"We had a wonderful week at Penelope’s house. Our host was excellent at communicating. Nothing was too much. They went above and beyond. The apartment was well equipped and the views were stunning. We absolutely loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching Kalami wake up. The stroll to the beach was only 5 minutes along a steep, small path and very quick on the way down. We did it with my 2 children 11 and 14. Not difficult if fit. The lady who owns the house was charming and helpful. The apartment was the perfect place from which to explore the island and it was especially helpful to have an allocated parking space. Kalami bay was stunning and we also enjoyed nearby Kouloura Bay. We came in April and the majority of tavernas and shops were closed but we managed to find and enjoy the smattering that opened and it suited us going at this time of the year as the roads were quiet and we had the beaches and sea to ourselves. Great Swimming and snorkelling! We’ll be back!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our five days. The view was stunning, surrounded by olive trees, and the rooms were lovely. It was relatively quiet, which we really appreciated. The island is easily explored from there, and a car is highly recommended. Thank you so much, we would love to come back!"

"The villa was a lovely little escape and the sea was a stone throw away. I realised that we went out of season (just), but the ATM was out of service and there was no service to pay the taxi driver when we arrived. We did manage to eat at one of the taverns on the first day there, but it was their last day open. Maybe a bit of a heads up about this would have been useful. "

"Our stay was spoiled by one of the beds collapsing and my wife injuring her leg. The bed is held together by nails rather than screws and the nails were rusted to breaking point. Check the beds if you stay here! We asked for compensation but were denied it because we didn't raise the issue until after our stay. We had however raised it with properties managing agent during our stay and sent them photos of the bed and the injury.Won't be using VRBO again as feel a total lack of support with this.To be fair the agent did repair it quickly.The flat itself is very tired looking which doesn't show in the photos. The furniture and kitchen units are old. The kitchen is poorly equipped. The shower is tiny.If they spent a bit of money on fixtures and fittings it would be a much nicer flat.Location is lovely just back from the beach with a choice of restaurants nearby."

"Lovely room with great facilities. Patio with swim out river. Short walk down to beach, pool bar and restaurants. Hotel restaurant had extensive buffet style food choices. All inclusive with no children the drinks flowed. "

"The villa offers a breathtaking view. The house is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully furnished. The terrace with pool is magnificent. Unfortunately, the kitchen is rather sparsely equipped. Important utensils (such as scissors) were missing, so we often had to improvise. Some of the kitchen appliances, room doors and beds are in need of some renovation or replacement."
