"Excellent hotel in many ways & very welcoming to our 2 dogs. However the property itself needs some tlc on the exterior - a lot of moss & the white paint is peeling. It is still grand on the promenade & have to say the food is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again & recommend you try it. "

"Fantasic staff, Jill served us breakfast both mornings, what could be better than eating a full English cooked to order breakfast overlooking the sea with a pot of tea or coffee, if a cooked breakfast isn't for you then a buffet style continental is available with a selection of fruit juices. The room we had was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with an ensuite bathroom, overall the room rivaled and in some cases was better than most 5* hotels i have stayed in. Unfortunately we did not take and swimwear so could not make use of the fantastic pool, spa and steam room, a mistake that we definitely will NOT be making when we go back in a few months. Overall it is a large hotel that has managed to keep a friendly, personal feeling rather than an impersonal multi conglomerate atmosphere that you get from others thanks to the wonderful staff. Luxury feeling, dining with uninterrupted views of the sea and a short easy stroll to the beach, ticks all the right boxes for us."
