Beachfront Suite - Beautiful Sunset Views - Full Kitchen - Close to Everything

Come enjoy everything Galveston has to offer in this centrally located suite with a breathtaking sunset view of the Gulf!

Conveniently located at the corner of the Galveston Seawall and 61st Street. Walk across the street and relax at the beach, or fish off the 61st St Fishing Pier. For those looking for a more upbeat atmosphere, this condo is just minutes from the amusement parks, downtown shopping districts, Moody Gardens, and a championship golf.

WIFI and basic cable included. Condo Suite is also fully stocked with beach towels, linens, bath towels, paper items, dishes, glasses, pots, pans, soaps, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: As of 1/1/2020 Casa Del Mar charges a one time $40 fee for parking (good for the duration of your stay and up to 2 cars). This is paid at the front desk upon check-in.

View of the ocean is good. Kitchen was not clean. Staff was worthless, unkind. Cute decore. Sofa very uncomfortable. A potenial gem with a bit of attention.

Great View

Nice property and fairly priced. Towels and bed linens smelled amazing! Easy check in, property owners communicated all aspects of our stay. Best part was the ocean view! We'll definately look for this property again when traveling to Galveston.

Galveston Condo

We had a great stay at the Galveston condo. It was right on the beach and had easy access to the sea wall! Would stay here again!

Could not sit on filthy furniture

The couch and chair in living room were so grimy that we had to use towels to cover them in order to sit down. The pull out couch bed felt like you were sleeping directly on the frame, the “mattress” was so thin with thick, loud, crinkly plastic over it. The dishes provided looked like they came from goodwill and had to be washed before I could use them. The bathroom was clean and the main bed was comfortable. The community pool was excellent. Would not ever stay here again.

Cleaning Issues

There was hair in the refrigerator and on the bathroom floor. The stove top was dirty and the oven was not clean. The latch on the patio door did not function properly.

Really great stay

Cleanliness was pretty good. Mirror and dishes were a little dirty, but that was fine. Sheets also smelled heavily of bleach/cleaner- but I’d rather that than dirty. Great stay really.

Not at all as expected.

When we arrived the property had not been cleaned properly and when I notified the owners their response was “Grrr”. The inventory provided did not match what was actually there. I didn’t expect to have to clean someone else’s fridge of old French fries and spilled mustard and ketchup. There was long black hair in all the corners. The shower curtain was beyond disgusting. Sinks were dirty. Under the bed had 1/4 inch of dust. I assure you I’m not that fussy but there are limits to acceptable. I suffered with a rash the whole time we were there and found out the reason for the rash was caused by bedbugs. Not at all a happy experience. While I realize that it is not the fault of the owners it is the responsibility of the owners and agin I received unacceptable responses from them. I did get a very small refund because of this but it was totally unacceptable for the amount of stress and discomfort I went through. I have never given a bad review to anyone but in this case felt compelled. The unit was cute and would have been great but did not live up to its reviews or my expectations.

Ok

It was good just one thing that really bothered me was the thermostat that was controlled by the owner first night was very cold and during the day was hot I felt uncomfortable bothering the owner to be messing with the thermostat I talk to others that stayed at the same place and no one had there thermostat lock.

Comfy and convenient

We loved this little condo on Galveston beach. It was so homey, and while cozy, still had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Clean and well appointed. Location was perfect also. Enjoyed gazing at the beach from the balcony

Great little condo for small family!

We loved it here. It was clean and smelled great and the room temperature was perfect after a long, hot day of travel. We had only 2 complaints: The shower water pressure was pretty weak and the deck chairs were too low and most people will not have a clear view of the ocean when sitting outside with a cup of coffee. Bummer. Other than that, we appreciated how stocked it was. The beds and furniture were VERY comfortable too! and if we ever come back, would love to stay here again!

Great Experience

Our first time in Galveston and the condo did not disappoint! It was clean, easy to access, and a very easy walk to the beach (even for my 3-year old). Will definitely be staying there again soon!

Great place!

This was a great location for our stay! It’s a small place but it fit us perfect for what we needed. The bunks are definitely kids size but they thought they were fun. The kitchen has everything we needed and there was plenty of beach towels and chairs for the stay. Thanks!

Great Quick Trip

This property was great, well stocked with towels, linens, beach chairs and umbrella, and even beach towels. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and eat in. Location js great because it is close to the cross walk to get to the beach. The unit is very small but we made it just fine with 5 people. We will definitely be returning. Great stay especially for the price.

Gets the Job Done

This rental doesn’t have bells and whistles and is an older unit, but it worked great for our short weekend. The owner is super responsive and easy to work with and the location is great. We did have some issues with the hallways and elevators having an extremely strong smell of weed. Not sure if I would stay for an extended period of time, because I couldn’t have dealt with that longer than a day.

Great Condo

Great stay at this condo. It was clean and was just right for hubby & I. We walked across to the pier and did some fishing. This was our first time pier fishing, we rented poles & bought bait. Then when we were done we just walked across the street to the wonderful condo. Location is great to the beach. Great view from the balcony too. Highly recommend.
