"Property is right on the beach and the staff was very friendly. We didn't see any bugs, the AC worked, and the bed was okay. Those are the pros. The cons... I was disappointed overall. This is not what i expected from a Wingate by Wyndham property. It wasn't the cleanest. The hallways, stairs, and walls were all a little grotty. We only stayed one night and so it was bareable, but i will not be reserving this hotel in the future for our stays in Galveston."

"It’s older and no elevator but for one night before a cruise it was clean and staff was great! The pool was clean and grandkids enjoyed swimming. Leaving our car there for free made it even better. The shuttle service was perfect for only $20 round trip. We will sympathize there again for sure."

"Super easy to find and a great location! Walk out your door and cross the street to the beach. It's a older hotel, it's been freshly painted, the office and grounds are tidy. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints! Thank you😊"
