"Stay at Barefeet Retreat in Galveston in late September, 2025We had a delightful 3 night, 4 day stay at Vrbo’s “Barefeet Retreat" in Galveston in late September. The 4 bedroom, 3 bath beach front house was very comfortable, very well appointed and had all the features that made a great stay for us. The house is laid out perfectly for an enjoyable visit with a large, open living room/kitchen area and we loved the fabulous Guif views through large water facing windows. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and the handiness of the power lift was greatly appreciated versus lugging luggage up and down the stairs! We were all of 50 yards and two minute walks from the water - it’s a non vehicle stretch of beach which made it great for leisurely walks and just gazing at and listening to the waves crashing on the shore. Our small Yorkshire Terrier loved walking on the beach with us. We’d love to return and bring our family and/or friends on our next trip. DAC/MLC "
