"This place was perfect. It had the lake view of Lake Tekapo, and an accessible door to walk straight out to the lake. It was directly across the bridge and had the most scenic view. The room was spacious. Loved the heated restroom floors and towel heaters. It was so close to the food area and gas station, about a 5 minute walk. Love the accessibility to everything. The staff was extremely helpful with the checkin. Couldnt have had a much easier experience. "

"We stayed for 2 nights. Very clean and modern room. Great shower and comfortable room. Loved being in the park for convenience to hiking. We weren’t thrilled with the pub or buffet though and there are very limited dining options in the park. We knew that going in, but probably wouldn’t stay here again for only that reason."

"The Godley Hotel is perfectly located in Tekapo!! NOTE: There is no elevator, so be prepared to lug suitcases upstairs!! The Jack Rabbit restaurant that is attached is perfect for breakfast. We went to T.L.V. for dinner, which was a nice upscale restaurant in the area and the dishes were excellent. Definitely plan on taking the time to walk around the lake to see the church and the cute shops. "

"I loved my stay at Haka house Mt cook! I stayed in an 8 bed dorm room and found it to be very comfortable. The lockers were big and beds felt really private. Clean shower rooms and toilets. Kitchen was well equipped. The views right outside are absolutely stunning!"
