Comfortable bed, great to be able to make coffee and food in room. Close to U line and buses. No need to rent a car.

I thought laundry machine was available in the rooms but it wasn’t

the place is safety and very quiet. There is no much for food.

The room was great, both in terms of cleanliness and price. Very modern and the kitchenette came with everything you could need to cook which really saved us some money. The only bad thing about this property is the location. It got a little sketchy at night and the women I was with were catcalled both nights we were there by men on the walk from the train to our hotel. It was to the point where we wanted to be back in the hotel before 9pm.

Excellent rooms. Beds are comfy. Easy transit to the center of the city. Good breakfast.

This was a great property for my family of four, which included two almost-adult children. Check-in and check-out was easy, and the property is near a couple of different bus/tram stops. You will need to take a tram to the Marienplatz (probably a 10-15 minute trip). But they run often. There is no air-conditioning, but it was comfortable with the fans provided. Friendly and comfortable stay in Munich during Oktoberfest. The hotel is walking distance to the fest, and the front desk staff were always so kind and helpful. The rooms do get quite loud at night due to their proximity to the train station— lots of people and vehicles outside making noise. But just bring some earplugs, and you’ll be fine. :)

great place to stay, one of the best values in town. 15 mins S-Bahn ride to the central train station, clean and spacious rooms and generous breakfast buffet. The rooms have a kitchenette, so the place is especially suitable for longer stays. I have been going to the Gaestehaus for almost 30 years and I don't see a reason to stay in any other place in Munich
