We stayed at the Rocco Forte line before and found it lovely, however the service and overall experience at the Charles Hotel truly defined luxury service. Best example: we wanted to take the subway to BMW World and it being a hard to find station, the concierge not only walked us to the station but down to the platform and ensured we got the correct train. Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! Had to take a city bus that charged a fare to the airport. The bus came approximately every 10 minutes

breakfast is very good with a lot of varieties, waiters are friendly. reception people are very nice as well. we had dinner for 2 people and food was not good and far away from known Italian quality and taste. Sophie at the Italian restaurant is very nice and considerate.

We were unfamiliar with the Westend area, but really liked the neighborhood of this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the area, price and Trip Advisor reviews. We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). It seemed like it was located in an industrial park so not very touristy but the train station 10 ft from the property was very handy

Spacious, clean room — perfectly located when attending a conference at Messe München. The nearby shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants is very convenient, and there’s also a nice park close by. It’s only about 25 minutes by U-Bahn to the city center.
