"I saw the Grand Hotel Gardone on a ferry boat stop on a cruise of Lake Garda two years ago and I vowed to stay here one day! It exceeded my expectations and was the perfect 3-night stay for rest and relaxation. The room was lovely and the lake view was stunning! The breakfast buffet was exceptional - one of the best of anywhere I have stayed before. It was abundant, generous, and nutritiously overflowing with Mediterranean options. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and gracious. My only disappointment was not to have a paino player in the lounge. With the lovely piano begging to be played, that would have added to the atmosphere, tremendously, and I would have lingered in the bar enjoying that music!"

"Our third stay at the wonderful Lefay Spa overlooking Lake Garda. Still cannot get used to the stunning view over the lake, it's quite something. Love this place so much, it is truly restorative for the soul and mind. Staff are quite wonderful, the Gramen Restaurant outstanding, especially as there is a tasting plant-based menu available (very rare). Our only gripe is the Limonaia restaurant where it's a struggle to find plant based dishes on the menu, plus the wine list by the glass is poor. Otherwise, superb facilities and ambience."

"The hotel staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. My only constructive criticism is that the water from the shower either has little or no pressure in the mornings, and it’s very difficult to regulate the temperature. It was either scalding, hot or freezing cold. Also breakfast was disappointing as unless you got there literally at 7:30 everything was cold, I am aware they sealed the silver platters with hot water, but there didn’t appear to be any candles keeping the hot water hot. Therefore the food was cold. We did have omelettes this morning our last day and only wish we are done that previously in the week but couldn’t see it advertised that they were available. "
