"We were met by the manager of the Abbotsford hotel almost immediately and he generously welcomed us and made us feel welcome. Although the building may appear older on the outside, the inside is up to date and comfortable. We had drinks in the bar(relaxing as we listened to locals chew the fat) and then dinner which was very good. The menu is diverse and reasonable. If ever in the area again, I’d stay here. "

"Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. It was a little pricey for what it was but you are paying tourist hotel prices. Overall we had a lovely time and would consider booking one of the larger cottages for a family event in the future."

"A truly marvellous stay at The Glenburn. We had a great nights sleep with a brilliant Scottish breakfast!! Hotel is amazing from the tartan carpets down to the splendour of the views from the terrace. Staff were friendly and happy to accommodate early arrivals with welcome tea and coffee. Whilst the hotel was a little dated in parts, I thought this added to the old school Scottish charm.I shall be staying here again!! "
