"I looked at the reviews showing a 9.2 before I booked. I was a bit disappointed. It was ok but certainly not almost perfect. The a/c thermostat had been pulled off the wall. No problem because we had access to the unit control. But we could not get the a/c to come on. It was a cool night so that was ok (but I like a cold room). We managed to get the fan to come on without the a/c so we could have some air circulating. The toilet seat didn't seem to fit and was one that you'd see in a public restroom (split). There were crumbs all over the chair so that made me wonder how clean the room was. Breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant when we checked in."

"The Lodge is a great place to stay. We spent most of our time playing in the pool and the grandkids loved the game room as well. The guys went skeet shooting one afternoon and the kids fished off the pier. Lots of space to spread out."
