"Staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The building is full of history. Comfortable bed, lovely shower. Food was really good, both evening and breakfast. Penrith is a lovely town for a mooch and nice to see independant shops. "

"I was given a very warm welcome and offered a homemade cookie ( very delicious). I stayed in.room.8 a single small but more than adequate, everything was provided and the room and bathroom.were spotlessly clean. The hotel requires that you pre-order breakfast for delivery at a chosen time slot, the next morning it arrived bang on time and was lovely and hot with everything you could expect. "Lovely comfortable, clean accommodation. In an fab location. All the extra touches are so appreciated and above and beyond e.g sewing kit in the large and comfortable lounge, home made biscuits in the room. Comfy beds and pillows and endless hot water. The hosts are super friendly and don’t mind you eating takeaway in the dining room in the evening. Breakfast was amazing!! We will definitely return. "
