"It’s vast! Impressive place with lovely staff and very stylish decor. Our room was beautifully furnished and comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast was very good and location was fine for us especially with parking included. One down side - sound travels in the rooms. We were warned it might be noisy and it was. Our room overlooked the main road and with single glazed sash windows we heard every sound. Staff and guests in the hotel could also be heard. It wasn’t deliberate noise just normal levels of acceptable sounds. If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs!"

"We stayed in one of the well equipped apartments, which was modern and comfortable. The bathroom lacked shelving or hooks, but otherwise was huge (could get a bath in there!) and tasteful decor. We arrived lateish so not many staff around, but the gentleman who assisted us was very pleasant and helpful. Whilst we didn't use it, there appeared to be a nice restaurant within the hotel."

"This is a beautiful hotel within a short distance of Kilkenny city centre. Rooms were well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A full buffet and cooked breakfast were available and both breakfast and bar food menus were excellent."

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Dinner was good. The menu was extensive but what I didn’t like was that with most of the fish or chicken dishes there was some red meat element included. The breakfast was very good, with a varied selection. Room was a good size for a family of 4."

"5-star at it’s finest! Would 100% recommend this property. They know how to do 5-star service. Everything was exceptional, all the small details and all the staff were incredible. The estate is beautiful, lots to explore. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. The Hound restaurant was amazing! Stay for atleast 2 nights to get the whole experience."
