"Everything was excellent, food lication, friendly staff, the only disappointment was the bed, I would have preferred a standard double bed rather than two large bed put together, which made the bed uncomfortable and too big. Otherwise the room was a lovely size lovely ensuite was very clean. "

"No lift to upper floor was a bit of a pain for us. It might put us off staying in the Brandon House again. ((We're senior citizens with multiple ailments). The only other complaint is that there was no "comfortable" chair in the room for reading, PC work etc. The straight back chairs provided were not comfortable, more like dining chairs. On the plus side, the food was excellent & the staff were most helpful & friendly. The decor was intriguing & grounds were so interesting. Just put in a lift! "

"Langtons was the perfect stay for us in Kilkenny. We booked 3 Queen rooms and all 3 were upgraded to Garden Suites. The rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of seating and a large bay window that faced greenery outside. The bathroom was huge and beautifully appointed. We were gratefully located on the ground floor, as there is no elevator. It was very private and quiet. The location in Kilkenny was perfect and we walked everywhere we needed to go. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. "

"A great convenient hotel close to the train station and easy walking distance to the Kilkenny Castle, thw Medieval Mile, and Smithwicks brewery. The included daily breakfasts in the restaurant had a wide variety of choices and were very tasty. There are plenty of pubs nearby for dinners and the other thing that we found very useful was the nearby Brett's laundrette where you can get a good-sized load of clothes washed, dried and folded for 20 Euros."
