"Lovely hotel in a small village. Ideal for a relaxed and chilled stay. . Staff are helpful and friendly. I asked for tea for breakfast on the first day as there was only coffee. After that my tea was waiting for me every morning. The hotel has lovely grounds with a pool. This was our second stay and will not be our last. "

"Not sure where to begin, however this is now a special place to me and my partner. We visited 2 years ago - absolutely loved everything about it and during this visit I proposed to her here. The place itself is like a small villa and the location is fairly remote, be aware the drive up to get to this property isn’t for the feint of heart… especially with a rental car. It definitely adds to the experience of being remote but take your time and it’s not too bad. The room is spacious and the bathrooms are very nice. The showers have rainfall shower heads and there is a window right beside the shower - if you get lucky (rooms 5/6/7/8) they face west, so you can shower as the sun sets beside you. Each room is equipped with an air conditioning unit, so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Beds are comfy, pillows are soft, nothing to worry about with comfort. The pool and outdoor spaces are what makes this place unique. The infinity pool is amazing and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas for all. The hike that you can go on is awesome, bring some water and you’ll be fine. It takes you to a very quiet and remote part of a river with the option to kayak/canoe (you have to ask and pay first though). The staff during my stay were all very lovely but there was one in particular that went above and beyond. I forget his name (sorry!) however he was there the entire time we were there and was always smiling and ensured we had everything. Thank you! "

"Lovely quiet spot overlooking the countryside, exactly what we were looking for. Clean, spacious and comfortable with everything you'd expect made this a truly relaxing week. Martin was an excellent host, it was good to meet him and good to know there was someone nearby if we had any issues - fortunately we had none."

"Property was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very clean and enough room for my wife and I with our adult son. Although it could accomodate up to 5 guests, I would not recommend it. Quiet, little town with a couple of good restaurants and cafes. Short and easy 15 min drive to Vila Nova de Milfontes or Porto Covo with amazing beaches. Hosts were wonderful and communicative while we were there. Only slight downside was that once we left, the communication was almost non-existent although we had an important question. Overall, a great experience and would absolutely stay again."
