Had trouble setting up a bed in the 3rd bedroom (pull out they had in the closet kept collapsing) so we just put the twin mattress on the floor and that seemed to work. "I arrived in Chicago around 8 in the morning. I went straight to the hostel, as they were able to take my bags to store them before check in as I explored the city. If I needed something from my bags they didnt hesitate to let me access them before checking in. The lady at the front gave me a temp key for their guest lounge if i wanted to hangout before check in. The lounge is amazing. Dining room is beautiful. Commercial group kitchen is great. Really homing to see other guest all making their foods in the morning. As of location, I'd say its perfect for city exploration, pretty central right in downtown. The staff were very nice and helpful, and they host group activities and tours etc. to sign up for free as a guest which are actually really cool. At night after dark the lounge is a cool hangout. Really feels like a loving place. I had no bad experiences. So many different ethnicities of people stay here and its really a cool thing. I love meeting new people and the people that I met here from all over the world were nice. It was my first stay in a hostel and I would definitely do it again. Im already planning to come back. Everything this hostel has to offer for this price, you can't beat it. 10/10 would recommend"
