"READ THE FINE PRINT! We booked a month in advance and immediately got a message asking us for a phone number and arrival time to best coordinate with us. I responded that we would be getting in around 7pm. I never heard back. I didn't see in the very long small font "Additional Details" of our booking that their check in window is from 3pm-5pm. "this place is not a typical stay. its a room in a house where the owners live. the room is huge and rustic. it does have a musty odor but that could be from being close to the coast. no tv but for us thats ok. shoud be listed as an airbnb. good value for the price. off the beaten path definitly not for the non adventerous. host very accomidating. i would stay again because the price was right. romantic charm. give it a try!"

"We liked it was on the beach. However, there was no air conditioning and we had to leave the sliding glass door ajar and the screen did not lock. We had to find items in the room to place in the rail to limit the distance the sliding glass door would open. Being unfamiliar with the area, we were on high alert all night for an intruder. It is also right on Hwy 101. The highway noise dissipates after 10:00 PM and starts back up around 7:00 AM. It was in a handy location to reach Prairie...
