"The house had plenty of room and beautiful county setting. We were unable to get the internet to work all weekend and the locks weren’t working well. Other than that we would go there again."

"We stayed here for almost a week. The property is conveniently located a little over 10 minutes off the highway, in a valley right next to the river. The house was clean, cozy, and we had plenty of room. The back deck overlooks the river and is nice to unwind on at the end of the day. The adjacent General Store had everything we forgot to bring and much more, in case you need a pound of nails, bison burger, a sweatshirt, and a fantastic milkshake. The owners were always responsive to answer...

A Relaxing Birthday Get Away

"We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Walnut Glamping Dome so much! This was more like a very nice cabin than the tent-type structure I expected. We were so relaxed, sitting on our deck, looking out over the river, and when we went inside later in the evening, we could do the same thing. Because of the height of the space, the room seems huge - so inviting and full of light. What a wonderful place to wake up on my 66th birthday! Breakfast in the dining room was very good and the hosts were extra nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and hope to return. "

Cabin #3 Francis - Custom built A-Frame Bunkhouse - pet and kid friendly

"Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well."

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting

"We stayed here for almost a week. The property is conveniently located a little over 10 minutes off the highway, in a valley right next to the river. Glamping safari tent overlooking pond with woodstove. Kid and pet friendly.

Just what we needed

"We were coming up from NC for my wife's grandma's 101st birthday party. Not much in the way of accommodations in Hacker Valley so this was the perfect location. It is everything you need with a nice, clean bathhouse just down the hill. The staff were extremely nice and the host goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Definitely will be returning in the future."
