"At first you may question if you are in the right spot, but believe me, you are. The Z Hotel Bath is one of those standout hotels because they incorporate electronic features throughout the hotel while still maintaining the historical beauty of the hotel and having interesting rooms. True, the rooms are very small, but they use the space wisely. My only displeasure is that I like bathroom privacy and there was none of that. The walls are made of almost completely fogged glass and no sound proofing. That said, I would absolutely stay here again because Z Hotel is perfectly situated, and the people are so incredibly nice and professional. You can drop off your bags before check-in and go enjoy the city. You are right in the heart of Bath. The playhouse is across the street. They hotel has a bar and snacks (maybe even meals) in the lobby, but there are numerous restaurants and pubs minutes away. The Roman Baths are barely five minutes away. Loved this hotel."

"Ideal location and room well prepared and functional. Did what it was meant to. Only negative was breakfast experience. A bit chaotic with some large shared tables. A few missing items on menu like grilled tomato, fresh salmon and bread varieties. But overall good value for money"

"Amazing stay at the Gainsborough in Bath. Love the complimentary access to the Thermal Bath Spa at the hotel itself and it’s a really nice spa/bath area. Everything was super close by and in walking distance. Great rooms, great staff and really enjoyed our stay"
