This was a great place to stay. Staff was very welcoming and the property was very well kept. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the view from the balcony was phenomenal. Would definitely go back!

Great location. Walking distance to downtown, and trolley stop right out front. Room had that cozy cabin vibe. Parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast was good and many options! Pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurt.

We loved our stay at the Brookside. The balcony looked over the rushing brook that was both beautiful and relaxing. The location of the lodge was a short convenient walk into downtown. The rustic decor of the rooms added to its charm. It was also very affordable with breakfast included. It was a pleasant surprise all around and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The sightings of the black bears behind and in front of our hotel was incredible and the stream running right behind our room was amazing to sit out and listen to. The breakfast is good and the location of the lodge is just up the hill from main attractions. Would definitely do it again
