This property was everything pictured and more!! Very CLEAN!!!The view is absolutely breathtaking!! Watch closely and you may spot the neighborhood bear! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin with Bacony!

This place is spectacular and the weather was perfect! This cabin was just as described and very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony listening to the creek down below and the view is amazing of the mountain peaks. The washer and dryer was definitely a plus. The cabin had just been renovated with a double wide refrigerator with ice and water in the door. The owners were very easy to communicate with. Definitely be returning!!

Always a great stay

Another great stay at The Sweet Escape. This was our third time here and will definitely be back! Cabin is beautiful, comfortable and super clean. Location is perfect between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Love the mountain view on the deck with only a short drive off main highway.

Perfect Couples getaway

This is the cutest cabin! So clean and the perfect cozy size for 2. We so enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub and on the private deck. Beautiful view! Can’t wait to visit again!

It was truly amazing

We absolutely loved the cabin. The views were breathtaking. The cabin was immaculately clean. The hot tub was a wonderful addition providing a relaxing way to unwind. We even had a bear stroll by the first night. Would highly recommend to anyone for a getaway.

Great cabin

We had a wonderful time relaxing and seeing the fall leaves. The cabin was perfect. The location was close to all attractions. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking a few trails. Well stocked except could have provided a few extra towels, but we had everything we needed. It wasn’t a problem since we had the washer and dryer and washed them. The view was beautiful.

Sweet Escape

35th Anniversary

This cabin was perfect for me and my husband while we celebrated our anniversary. Only complaint…. we didn’t book our stay for a few more days lol. We loved it!

Never wanted to leave!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The cabin is at the end of the road and felt secluded. The views from the driveway and the spacious deck are spectacular. The cabin was spotless and had everything we wanted and more. Every detail was well thought out. The bedroom/bed was so comfortable, we both agreed we haven’t slept that well in a long time. Every morning we enjoyed watching the sun come up as the birds sang and every night watched the lights twinkle across the valley as we soaked in the hot tub. We come down to Gatlinburg every year and have stayed in many cabins, we both agreed that this one is our all time favorite and will we stay here as much as we can.

Super Cute Cabin with great location

This cabin was truly everything we hoped for and more! Beautifully decorated with awesome views. In the morning, we had our coffee on the deck while we watched the sun rise over the mountain taking in the gorgeous panoramic views of fall-colored trees across the mountain landscape. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening with a glass of wine after a day of hiking in the beautiful Smokey Mountains. Perched up on a mountain, this cabin is perfectly located within a short drive to lots of activities including the action-packed town of Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountains National Park and Pigeon Forge ... just to name a few. Cabin was also well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We HIGHLY recommend this beautiful cabin. You won't be disappointed. Thanks so much Mike and Angela for a truly wonderful stay. We will be back.

Gatlinburg stay April 2 - 6

Our experience was wonderful. We initially had plans to start in a neighboring region, but that had to change due to loss of power in that area. Our host were flexible enough to allow us to come in early and spend the full four nights rather than just two with them. This was much appreciated, and actually worked out overall in our vacation a great deal better. The cabin was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and just what we wanted. The location was great, and it facilitated our ability to move about the area for hiking and sightseeing easily. the kitchen was stocked with wonderful cooking utensils, which was really nice feature as we love to cook in. The hot tub and the view in the evenings was a great way to end the day. We were very impressed with this property and will likely return.

A great get away cabin !

The road to the cabin was very curvy but we got use to it. The cabin was so nice. It has everything we needed for the week. Everything was super clean. We didn’t see one fly, bug etc in the cabin the whole week. The owners have it decorated so nice. The hot tub was fantastic and it was so nice to have a view of the mountains while in the hot tub or just sitting on the glider. It was very convenient to Gatlinburg or pigeon forge. We saw many bear all week near the cabin so that was very exciting ! The only thing I have to complain about at all is the traffic noise. The cars are very loud when you’re outside. It is no fault of the cabin owners but it is worth mentioning. Angela and Mike were very good at sending us emails leading up to the trip and while we were there. They couldn’t be nicer! Wanda

GREAT NEW HOME AWAY FROM HOME

EVERYTHING WAS SUPER CLEAN AND NEW HOME SMELL. EVERYTHING WAS EXACTLY AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION. WE LOVED EVERYTHING, ALMOST. WIFE WAS NOT TOO THRILLED ABOUT THE ROAD TO THE CABIN, SO I DID THE DRIVING UP AND DOWN. THERE IS ROAD NOISE SINCE ALL CARS SEEM NOT TO HAVE MUFFLERS ON THEM ANYMORE. NOT YOUR FAULT BUT WORTH MENTIONING SINCE SOME FOLKS DON'T LIKE THE NOISE. MAINLY HEARD WHEN SITTING OUT SIDE ON THE GREAT PORCH WITH GREAT VIEW. YOU MAY NEVER NOTICE THE NOISE. GREAT GET AWAY SINCE WE HAVE NOT BEEN ON ANY KIND OF VACATION FOR OVER 12 YEARS. THIS WAS OUR FIRST OUTING JUST TO SEE HOW I WOULD DO. I AM A VIET NAM VET WITH AGENT ORANGE AND PTSD PROBLEMS SO PEACE AND QUIET WOULD HAVE BEEN SUPER APPRECIATED BY ME. WE WILL BE BACK BUT NEXT CABIN WILL BE IN A QUIET ZONE. THANKS FOR EVERYONE THAT TAKES CARE OF THE CABIN SO WE CAN ENJOY IT. ALREADY TAKING ABOUT THE NEXT TRIP. AFTER 12 YEARS THIS IS LIKE BEING LET OUT OF A CAGE. WE THANK GOD FOR A SAFE CAR TRIP AND FOR GETTING US THERE TO ENJOY GATLINBURG. MY 1ST TRIP TO GATLINBURG WAS IN 1964. SO THIS IS OUR PLACE BUT HEALTH STOPPED US FOR AWHILE. AT THE HANDS OF GOD WE ARE BACK GATLINBURG. STILL HAVE GREAT FOOD WE ENJOYED A LONG TIME AGO. WELL GUESS THIS IS TOO LONG BUT, YOU ASKED.

Beautiful retreat atop the mountains! We enjoyed slow mornings, relaxing afternoons, & restful evenings in this well-appointed cabin! Close to the hustle & bustle of Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge but as soon as we drove into the shaded forests of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we felt a sense of peace & relaxation. We enjoyed hikes along creeks & up to vistas as well as scenic drives. The hot tub at the cabin was a great way to relax our tired muscles. We also enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning as we sat & drank coffee on the porch & we were fortunate to see a black bear on the road as we left on our final day! Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Like new

This home was as advertised, and spotlessly clean. Walking in we felt like we were the first ones to stay there. Kitchen was well equipped including things rentals often don’t have, like a blender, cutting boards, very nice knives, large drink pitcher, and coffee grinder. We found that having two bathrooms was really handy so that my husband and I could get ready at the same time in the morning. Of course, enjoying a sunrise from the hot tub was a special experience that signaled we were truly on vacation! Location is about 1/2 way between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and was a nice escape at the end of the day. While the main road is just below your balcony you feel like you’re in a remote location. In fact, even with two other cabins visible from the grill area, once you’re in the cabin you can’t see any neighbors. From the balcony we saw a bald eagle, and we saw a large bear one morning on our way out. Angela was a responsive and personable host. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beyond belief

The “Sweet Escape” was the perfect cabin for two people. It was beautiful and extremely clean and perfectly decorated. The view from the deck was just awesome and there was a hot tub which we used after long hikes into Smokey Mountain National Park. The park was just three miles away from the cabin. Very convenient. I would go back in an instant.
