Relax with the convenience of a gas log fire on the main level, or play a game of pool in front of a wood burning fireplace on the lower level. With 4 private bedrooms on 3 levels and full baths on the main and lower level with a half bath in the loft, families have plenty of room to spread out. There is spacious parking for at least 4 cars without a steep driveway. Large deck with hot tub and winter views. Leave the sizzle of summer while enjoying shady mountain breezes with occasional sightings of bears. Ideal for adult retreats.


Guest Services at Chalet Village Owners Club: All guests have the use of facilities at the Chalet Village Owners Clubs. The South Club is located less than a mile from Bear Haven. The North Club is located about 1 1/2 miles from Bear Haven. The clubs have outdoor swimming pools, which are open in season which is roughly Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are also game rooms and tennis courts.

Great little Cabin, we loved sitting in front of the fire at night and having the second living space for the kids. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a Smoky Mountain vacation.

This cabin is easily accessible & conveniently located to both Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge (using the bypass). Communication w the home owner was great. We also got to see several bears!

Cabin is cozy and enough room for the seven of us. We were here for the Christmas week and the decorations were appreciated. Nice having a Christmas tree.We used the hot tub almost every day. We did see one bear in the road one day. The cabin needs some updates and a good clean ,but overall we enjoyed it. Room for 4 vehicles,two being trucks. This is a beautiful, clean, and spacious cabin. We had 4 couples that stayed in this cabin and we had plenty of room. We would definitely stay in this cabin again. We had a great time at the cabin!

This is a great Cabin. Perfect distance from main strip in Gatlinburg as well as hiking spots. Perfect size for our family. The property owner was very detailed in directions and with tips for food and things to do. Will absolutely stay here again :-)

Needs some up keep. Railing is weak around the outside deck. The tin on the roof is exposed and is at head level for young children that could cause major injuries. Needed some cleaning under the furniture and if you have a large group of people, more towels and wash clothes are needed. We had to wash towels .We had a group of 7.

We had a great time at the cabin. It was the perfect size for my family and my sisters family. We saw a few bears during our week stay (14 total). The rooms worked out well for us. Compared to the other cabins near by it did seem a little dated but that did not bother us. We also liked using the clubhouses for swimming which were nice for our kids ranged 3-11 years old. The downstairs jack and jill bathroom shower stall is small but worked fine. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Great vacation!

Beautiful place to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday! The whole family has a great time and there was a lot of things to do and see. The hot tub was great - clean, working and perfect on a cold night. The pool table brought out the competitive side of the family :) There was plenty of space for the family to have quiet time for themselves. Would definitely recommend others to stay in this cute and cozy cabin! The Christmas decorations were an added bonus!

We had such a blast during our stay - saw bears everyday but one. The communication with the propert manager could not have been more clear and the check-in process was seamless. Even our teenagers had fun! The location was perfect, just a 10 min drive to Gatlinburg and the scenery was breathtaking. We will definitely be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We cooked most all meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The washer/dryer was a helpful perk so we are going home with clean clothes. Our family utilized the hot tub and the pool table as well. We saw bears at least 15 times during our three night stay. They were not aggressive but we kept our distance and just watched from the deck. One bear did try getting in our vehicle but doors were locked and everything was safe. We would highly recommend this cabin for families in the future.

The cabin was clean and spacious and beautiful. There a high chair there for baby, wished there wouldve been a pack n play but it was fine bc hs ealways sleeps with me anyways... i expected 2 tubs but there was only 1. But it was totally fine . Worked out great. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Was a great stay we were there for spring break. Of course it was cold and snowed one day and then the last day was in mid 60’s but made the best of it. The cabin was nice, you could tell some things had not been cleaned, a lot of dust but over all was a nice cabin for a family with kiddos. Good accommodations and the owner was very nice when we couldn’t get the fire place to turn on. The Hot tub was nice for 4 adults.

Overall the cabin was clean, but there were a few minor issues. There was a used washrag left hanging on the back of the main bathroom’s door, the towel rack in the main bathroom was broken and being pulled from the wall and there was a used tissue on the floor of the master bedroom. We ended up using a box fan in the master bedroom, but one of the other fans did not work and the upstairs bedroom gets very hot. Aside from these minor issues the stay was great. The location was very close to downtown Gatlinburg and easy to get to.

The cabin was a nice reprieve. It was clean and everything was as described. We seen bears everyday so keep things locked. The property manager was very responsive with questions. Only thing I would change is the mattresses were very firm and I’m not use to it. But it was a three story cabin (basement, main floor, loft) so plenty of room. We loved the pool table and hot tub. You are only 5 min from gatlinburg but far enough out you feel secluded. The neighbors were all extremely friendly. Over all it was a wonderful experience. I will gladly book again.

This property had not been cleaned well. Overall not as it should have been. Property is In need of repairs and maint. work. The deck had not been swept in some time. The table on deck was very dirty. The water in hot tub was not good at all. The chemical balance was way off. There was only a few rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for 7 days. We had to go buy more. No dish towels in kitchen. We have stayed in a number of properties over the years and this is the worst we have stayed in.
