Welcome to Bearly Awake, a Luxury Mountain Retreat, located on 2.5 private acres in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg, TN. From the moment you arrive, you will see some of the most beautiful views the area has to offer. You will not find a more peaceful place to enjoy time with family and friends.

This 4500 sq ft cabin has it all. The cabin includes 6 king bedrooms (two with gas fireplaces) and 7 full baths. It has two dens (one with gas fireplace), screened in porch, outdoor covered sitting area with grill and fire pit, 2 hot tubs, putting green, and childrens playground. The basement offers a poker room with fireplace, pool table room, movie room, and kids arcade complete with air hockey, foosball, and skee ball, This is a great place for a family gathering.

Family New Years

Property and home were breathtaking! Lots of fun things for everybody to do! There was never a dull moment in the house. We went to town 1 day because we loved the house so much would highly recommend for large families or multiple families. We loved that for once nobody had to fight over who gets the bigger bed. Thank you for a wonderful home to celebrate with my kids and grandkids for a week!

Family Reunion

Perfect layout for our family with 6 bedrooms with King beds plus 3 of those had bunkbeds, pull out sofas or twin beds for grandkids.We used the firepit every night making smores, playing games and catching up on the day.There were several different common areas to allow us to spread you without being on top of each other.The views down the valley were spectular overlooking the foliage that was still vivid colors.

Great Smoky Mountain Get-a-way

Loved the house and the view. No better view around! Really enjoyed seeing the wildlife. Had numerous bears' visit the property during our stay. The family enjoyed all the different activities the area had to offer.

Beautiful Cabin

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. It definitely could accommodate many more guests but it fit all of our needs so well we didn’t want to look elsewhere. The fire pit area is great, kids loved the arcade, and the view from the living room is amazing. Only problem was that we wished we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful family vacation!

My entire family loved this beautiful and spacious cabin. The pictures don't do it justice. We used the cabin as a jumping off point to enjoy the Smokies and Gatlingburg. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing for a large group!

We had a group of 6 families stay here and it was perfect with the 6 king rooms. The layout is super unique and allows for plenty of space for the kids and adults. It's at the very top of the mountain and has amazing views (and some bear-y friendly visitors)

Celebrate 50th

This house provided the perfect gather place for our family of 11. Everyone had their own bedroom and private bathroom. The games downstairs provided great fun for our 3, 8 and 11-year-old grandchildren. I had never watched a movie in an entertainment room, but it was delightful to push back into a comfortable recliner. Lisa was very responsive to any questions that I had.

Spring Break

We had a group of 14 ,plenty of room, lots to do. Location couldn’t be beat, views were amazing. Cabin was in great condition, lots of room in the kitchen to cook. Really just can’t say enough about this property, would highly recommend to others. Thanks Lisa for a great weekend.

Family of 15 stay

We stayed for about a week. There was plenty of room for all of us. The view was beautiful in the morning and there were plenty inmates to sit and relax. The basement had pool, air hockey, foosball and more to keep us busy. We saw a bear every day on the property, one even looked in the laundry room window. We all had a great time.

Great Large Family Stay!

We had 22 family members come and it was a great set up!!! So many bathrooms was a great perk!!!! The views were amazing and the location enabled us to feel tucked away but also get to town to do things easily! The kids would’ve been happy to spend the whole time in the basement between the games, theater room, and hot tubs!! Would definitely recommend!

Bear Crazy

Lots and lots of stairs, good way to get steps in. Location was great. Pools were very nice. Lots of visits from bears. We were not comfortable eating outdoors for dinner as they seemed to show up at that time. We loved seeing them though. Remember to bring extra supplies if you are staying for longer than two days. Another wonderful visit. To the Smokies!

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here getting our entire family together! We have all ages and there is something for everyone! Pool table , theater room, game room, 2 hot tubs, plenty of space for moms with babies, family gatherings. If I would have one complaint the kitchen could be a little more stocked, coffee, dish towels, salt / pepper ect. Would definitely stay there again.

Be bear aware

The house was beautiful and the views were incredible! When they say bears, they mean it! Be bear aware for sure. The play set on the photos has been removed but the putt putt green is still available. The owners were very attentive when things arose, like a fallen tree on the drive way post a thunderstorm. They were quick to respond and remove the tree. Overall it was a great property and enjoyed our stay.

Stunning Views

We absolutely loved our stay! Nights out at the fire pit were so much fun. The game room and hot tubs were a hit. The house was beautiful with amazing views. We even had a visit from a pair of bears. The only drawback was that the master suite on the second floor got a little warm, and didn’t have a ceiling fan. Thanks Lisa for having us! Very memorable trip!

Our stay was incredible! The size of the home was perfect for the many generations of family present. The first floor bedroom and the baby crib were the extra touches we needed! Amazing property

"Bearly Awake" is perfect for families. Our group of 10 ages 3 - 63, we had a wonderful stay! Home is spacious and brand newly renovated. Less than 15 min to anything in PF and Gatlinburg. Finally, Lisa was a wonderful host.
