We stayed for our 26th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect the lady at check in was beyond helpful when we had a problem with our debit card she was so nice and polite. The room was so cozy and the view of the stream was perfect we saw a famy of itters and bear outside our balcony. Already booked a return visit for October.

An idyllic setting and well situated on the river.

The situation and setting was truly lovely with the balcony over the river. The room was comfortable and spacious and the staff courteous and helpful. The trolley bus goes right by the hotel and good restaurants nearby too. The only negative thing would be the limited seating for breakfast, which was very basic. Otherwise excellent.

Really Nice

This hotel is really nice! It has a great river view. The staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is a plus. They serve Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits, bagels, cereal, fruit, pastries, etc.and the fireplace was wonderful 😀

Perfect weekend

The room was very clean. It had all me and my husband needing for a weekend getaway. Within walking distance to everything you need and all the shops. Will definitely be staying again.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful—they made us feel right at home. Every interaction was warm and genuine, and it’s clear they take pride in offering great service. Our room was beautiful—spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a cozy mountain lodge vibe. The beds were great, and the fireplace and balcony added the perfect touch. We also had a gorgeous view of the river behind the hotel, which made our mornings and evenings feel so peaceful. The location couldn't be better. Just a short walk to the main strip, it was super convenient to shops, restaurants, and attractions—yet still quiet and relaxing at night. We loved being able to park and explore Gatlinburg without needing to drive. Old Creek Lodge exceeded our expectations. Great value, excellent service, and a perfect location. We’ll absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect family vacation!

We loved everything about our stay!! The staff was super friendly, breakfast was good and easy to take back to the room, and the view of the river is just gorgeous! We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and we able to watch the fireworks from our balcony! The hotel is literally 1 block off the strip and the tram to Ober Gatlinburg is right on the corner! They also have fruit infused water and cookies in the afternoon! We would definitely stay here again!

If you're familiar with Gatlinburg then you know finding somewhere to stay can be tricky. The traffic can be brutal. This was a great pick, a little off the main stretch but not far, very close and walkable, but far enough that you could drive off without getting trapped in the traffic. You could go the back way and get to the bypass without hitting the main road traffic at all. Right on a the creek so it had a nice view and you could see the Ober Gatliberg ride too. Room was clean and comfortable.

Great place!

The rooms are a little outdated but clean! Love that there is no carpet in the rooms. Staff was friendly. Pool area was clean and the water was warm! Breakfast was adequate and the coffee was delicious. The best thing is the location! Located just off the main parkway…close enough to walk everywhere but very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Great service.

This is a nice little hotel with really wonderful staff. The pool is small and near the road, not very private; so if that is important you you this may not be the place for you. The room was very quite and clean, the location is very convenient and easy to walk around from. The breakfast options are minimal, but there is always coffee available.
