Moonfall Cottage is a veteran owned property. I purchased the cottage at first site just because I was drawn into it's inviting, homey, welcoming energy and was so spotlessly clean; if I didn't know better, I'd think the former owners cleaned the dirt in the yard prior to the sale! This dreamy little cottage offers easy driving access, with no steep winding mountain roads. One floor living with no stairs makes our cottage ideal for everyone. Hardwood floors throughout gives that warm make yourself at home feeling. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare that perfect meal or light snack is in the pantry. A Keurig coffee brewer along with coffee grounds, coffee pods, creams and sugars are provided in the kitchen. Not into coffee? We also offer a wide selection of teas for your enjoyment. The kitchen is stocked with soaps, paper towels and trash bags as well. Only the finest bed linens are stretched on top of the super comfortable/Willenburg Tufted queen bed and you will find soft snuggly towels in the bathroom. Extra linens; if needed for the Murphy bed are provided in the living room closet. The bathroom has all the amenities of home with a hair dryer, a variety of soaps, shampoos and toilet paper. The living room has a sofa so comfortable that it envelopes you in cozy comfort. Two recliners make watching your favorite program or movie a special treat. The 42" TV is equipped with Roku so you don't have to miss your favorite program here in the mountains. High speed wifi is available throughout the house and on the outdoor patio. A gas grill is located on the patio with table and chairs and umbrella to enjoy the outdoor dining experience. Special touches, comfortable furniture and cozy bedding are awaiting you and that someone special at Moonfall Cottage!
Note: We are also pet friendly, well behaved potty trained pets up to 40 lbs are always welcome for an additional $50 non-refundable fee. Guests and Pet parents will be held fully responsible for any damages should they occur.
Foot note for those traveling into the Great Smokey Mountain Park. This year 2024 in efforts to better control traffic in the park you will now be required to purchase parking passes available at the Sugarlands Information Office as you enter the park area.

Perfect, private space

My husband and I have stayed here twice this year during our weekend getaways to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. It’s just outside of the touristy area, making it a quiet, peaceful getaway. The bed and furniture are nice and comfortable. The house is very clean and we love the convenience of the washer and dryer.

perfect mountain cottage get-away

Cottage is bigger than it looks in picture, extremely clean, pet-friendly and full of thoughtful details. Wish we could have stayed longer! Perfect location- easy to get to Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions and Smoky Mountain National Park.

Peace in the Mountains

We recently spent 4 nights at Moon Fall Cottage with our small dog. We enjoyed our quiet stay in the Smokies and we knew we had a peaceful cottage to return to after a day in the Park. This is one of the cleanest VRBO rentals we have ever stayed at. We plan to return in the future.

The nicest, cleanest property I think we have ever rented. Amazing attention to detail, everything you could possibly need was supplied. Cozy, comfortable and quiet surroundings. Laura was very good at communicating and the check in process could not have been easier. Super close to hikes, shops. Can’t wait to visit again!

Cozy Cottage

Everything about our stay was great. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We didn’t really do any cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked and the owners provided many extras like coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and a tray of treats including Moon Pies and candy. Extra items were provided including cozy blankets and candles that made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this cozy cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the mountains.

Wonderful Cottage

My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary in the Smokies and this quaint cottage was just perfect! Easy to find, well stocked, communication with Laura the owner was wonderful. This time of year was so lovely, everything is turning green and blooming. The neighbor next door was friendly and has a BEAUTIFUL old barn you could look out the kitchen window and see. There are so many good things to say about this cottage, don't hesitate to book! Good Wifi connection if you need that. Loved sitting out on the back patio. We want to go back again someday! We enjoyed the Arts and Crafts Community very much.I stopped at Painted Bear Coffee twice, very nice and Alewine Pottery was probably my favorite!
