Cuddle Shack. . . Ideal cabin for your Gatlinburg honeymoon in Tn or just a romantic Gatlinburg mountain getaway that you will want to return to time and time again.

Our cabins mountain style includes a living area with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams and is practically surrounded with floor to ceiling windows that enjoy spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park including long range views and city lights at night. You can also see the tram from Ober Gatlinburg as it passes below our cabins mountain location. Enjoy comfortable and stylish cabin decor, a wood burning fireplace (in season), pool table and a hot tub on the deck. As our guest, you also have access to the club house with swimming pools and tennis courts (in season). The pool is typically open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend.


The South Baden Club House is the nearest one to Cuddle Shack (about 1 mile). You will pass it as you drive in on South Baden Dr.

The oversized master suite is perfect for your Gatlinburg honeymoon or romantic Gatlinburg mountain getaway boasting over 600 sq. ft of luxurious comfort, style and amenities. Enjoy a relaxing, romantic bath in the private heart shaped whirlpool with views of the Smokies and a private balcony and then. . . . fall asleep watching the twinkling of the night lights, stars and the moon.

Our cabins beautiful mountain setting is so private and yet minutes to Gatlinburg downtown shopping and many fine restaurants. The property boarders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you can even walk down to Cove Mountain Trail and enjoy a hike. We parked at the trail head of Laurel Falls once and hiked in to our Cabin, or you can head on down the trail and it comes out at the Sugarlands Visitor Center.

Black Bear, White Tail Deer, Wild Turkey and Raccoon frequently visit our cabin.

Cuddle Shack is located in Chalet Village, just minutes to Gatlinburg downtown dining or shopping, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge or the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. . About 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. About 1 hour to McGee Tyson Airport in Knoxville.

WEATHER / There are no refunds for inclement weather. This home is located in the mountains on a paved easement road. The driveway declines down to the cabin. It is recommended that you come prepared for snow during the winter months with 4 wheel drive and/or snow chains. Typically November - April.

My wife and I spent a week in the cabin. The views are amazing! The owner has provided quality furnishings and kitchen appliances. Even the plates were very nice. The owner was very kind and made sure we had all we need. We hope to return some day!

The cuddle shack offers amazing views of the smoky mountains for miles and miles!! The drive up is a bit challenging, but worth the trip. The cabin is very nicely decorated and spacious. Would stay again!

Relaxing stay

We stayed here in mid June and the views were just amazing! No visitors, but there were plenty in the neighborhood. The house was easy to access, clean and had everything we needed to make our stay memorable and relaxing. This was our 2nd stay in this cottage and you cant beat the privacy and views.

Wonderful weekend get away

Wonder few days at this location. The views do not disappoint and the seclusion is very peaceful. The home is very clean and well maintained. It was great to have our only neighbors being the wildlife.

Amazing!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday and has an amazing time!! The house was everything plus more than I imagined. I definitely would visit again, the road getting there is narrow and steep at times, but nothing to bad. Also the view from all the windows were absolutely beautiful!!

It is a great place once you get there. The roads to it are very narrow and steep. Signage for it was difficult to see and GPS stops working as you get near it.

Cozy and clean!

The first thing I notice when I stay somewhere is how well it’s cleaned. They keep this place nice and clean. It looks just like the pictures on the website. Very cozy for my husband and I to spend our anniversary. Also when it came to the kitchen, I hate going to a cabin that is bare you have nothing to use to cook. This cabin had everything we needed. Very well stocked!

Beautiful View But Driveway Scary Initially

Although the unit itself is wonderful, the precarious drive to the unit is not for the faint of heart. Drive way is extremely steep and ends in 40 foot drop off. You will need to execute a 3 point turn in a small area to leave so backup camera crucial. I got used to it after 4 days. Unbelievable view and we saw 2 cub bears outside unit. Google maps will get you close to unit, but not all the way to the unit that is at end of long uphill then downhill driveway.
