Amazing view.... but
This cabin is lovely and has an amazing view of the valley where Pigeon Forge is located. We got to see some fireworks that were shot from Dollywood every evening.
However, pay attention to the Foot Note in this listing saying that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is NECESSARY to access the cabin any time of year. I'm not certain that even a 4 wheel drive would make it up that driveway. We had to park at the bottom of the very long gravel drive and lug all our stuff up to the house in several loads. So, don't ignore that note... be prepared for a long/steep/gravel/pothole filled driveway.
In addition to the driveway, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishes, pots and pans. There were very few pots and pans for cooking (when we rent a place like this, we plan to do most of our own cooking...) There were no basic kitchen food staples - no sugar/salt/pepper or spices of any kind. There was one small (and in very poor condition) frying pan that had been put away dirty, not even wiped out with a paper towel. One larger pot (also dirty) that wasn't flat on the bottom... a small sauce pan that was the best of the lot (but not clean).
Silverware was plentiful and nice (and clean). There were enough bowls/plates/glasses but most of them were not very clean, so we ended up washing pretty much every dish before we used it.
WiFi is available, but slow (due to the remote location of the property).
All in all we had a nice time and the bed was comfortable... the view and deck were fabulous. But, if you don't want to add a difficult decent and return climb to the end of each trip, out of the cabin be prepared with a rugged 4 wheel drive vehicle, and bring whatever you need for cooking with you.
